Lā ilāha illā Allāhu waḥdahu lā sharīka lah, lahu al-mulku wa lahu al-ḥamdu, wa huwa ʿalā kulli shay’in qadīr.

From the blessed land of ʿArafah, beneath the mercy of Allāh on this magnificent day, I continue to raise my hands in prayers for humanity, justice, peace and the oppressed across the world. O Allāh, bring peace, safety and freedom to the people of Palestine. Relieve them of suffering, hunger, fear, bombardment and oppression. Protect their children, women, elderly and innocent civilians. Heal their wounded, comfort their bereaved and grant mercy to those who have lost their lives unjustly. O Allāh, grant peace and stability to Lebanon, Sudan and Democratic Republic of the Congo. End wars, bloodshed, displacement, famine and injustice. Unite their people upon goodness and grant them righteous leadership and security. O Allāh, protect all sincere human rights activists, relief workers and those who stand courageously for truth and justice across the world. Preserve the members of the humanitarian flotillas and every individual sacrificing their time, wealth and safety to bring aid, hope and succour to the oppressed people of Palestine. Reward them immensely for their sincerity and courage. O Allāh, support the oppressed wherever they may be. Defeat oppression, tyranny, injustice and transgression in every land. Humiliate those who spread corruption, massacre innocent people and violate human dignity. Grant victory, dignity and relief to the oppressed and grant humanity leaders who uphold justice and mercy. O Allāh, grant protection, stability and strength to Iran and guide its people and leadership towards justice, wisdom and righteousness. Preserve the region from widespread destruction and protect innocent civilians from harm and devastation. O Allāh, ahead of everything, protect our beloved Nigeria. Restore lasting peace, unity and security to our land. Strengthen and protect our Armed Forces, security personnel and all sincere individuals risking their lives to defend the people against terrorism, banditry, kidnapping and violence. Grant them wisdom, courage, discipline and remarkable victory over terrorists and enemies of peace. O Allāh, heal our nation Nigeria, from division, hatred, corruption and insecurity. Bless our leaders with sincerity and fear of You. Replace fear with safety, poverty with prosperity and despair with hope. O Allāh, bless every good person across the world irrespective of their faiths, tribes, races or ethnicities. Reward kindness, compassion, justice and humanity wherever they exist. Guide humanity towards peace, mutual respect and goodness. O Allāh, make us agents of mercy and not agents of destruction. Purify our hearts from hatred and arrogance. Pages of the Glorius Qur'ān today, Tuesday 26/5/26, Sūrah al-Mā'idah (5): 114-120 & al-'An'ām (6): 1-8, tafakkur verse 5: 116 Theme: The Absolute Oneness of Allāh and the Innocence of Prophet ʿĪsā (Jesus) {وَإِذۡ قَالَ ٱللَّهُ یَـٰعِیسَى ٱبۡنَ مَرۡیَمَ ءَأَنتَ قُلۡتَ لِلنَّاسِ ٱتَّخِذُونِی وَأُمِّیَ إِلَـٰهَیۡنِ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِۖ قَالَ سُبۡحَـٰنَكَ مَا یَكُونُ لِیۤ أَنۡ أَقُولَ مَا لَیۡسَ لِی بِحَقٍّۚ إِن كُنتُ قُلۡتُهُۥ فَقَدۡ عَلِمۡتَهُۥۚ تَعۡلَمُ مَا فِی نَفۡسِی وَلَاۤ أَعۡلَمُ مَا فِی نَفۡسِكَۚ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ عَلَّـٰمُ ٱلۡغُیُوبِ} "And [beware the Day] when Allāh will say, O Jesus, Son of Mary, did you say to the people, 'Take me and my mother as deities besides Allāh?' He will say, Exalted are You! It was not for me to say that to which I have no right. If I had said it, You would have known it. You know what is within myself, and I do not know what is within Yourself. Indeed, it is You who is Knower of the unseen". LESSONS: 1. True prophets never call people to worship themselves. Prophet ʿĪsā will clearly deny ever asking people to take him or his mother as deities. 2. All worship belongs to Allāh alone. No prophet, saint, angel, or righteous person deserves any share of worship. 3. Allāh knows the hidden and the open. Nothing can be concealed from Him, whether spoken publicly or hidden in the heart. 4. Humility before Allāh is the mark of true servanthood. Prophet ʿĪsā’s response begins with glorifying Allāh and declaring His perfection. 5. Religious exaggeration can lead to misguidance. Loving the righteous must never become worshipping them. O Allāh, keep our hearts firm upon Tawḥīd. Protect us from shirk, exaggeration, and misguidance. Make us among those who worship You sincerely and follow Your prophets with truth. Āmīn.

If a woman is unable to fast on the Day of ʿArafah because of menstruation, she should never feel deprived or hopeless concerning the mercy and reward of Allah. In Islam, when a believer is prevented from a righteous deed due to a genuine Sharʿī excuse beyond their control, Allah may still grant them the reward based on their sincere intention. The Prophet Muḥammad (ṣallāLlāhu 'alayhi wa sallam) said: “When a servant becomes ill or travels, Allah records for him what he used to do when healthy and resident.” (Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī). So if she genuinely intended to fast but was prevented by her period, she can hope for Allah’s immense reward through her sincerity and obedience. She should increase herself in other acts of worship on the Day of ʿArafah, such as: * abundant duʿā’, * dhikr, * takbīr (Allahu Akbar), * tahlīl (lā ilāha illā Allah), * seeking forgiveness, * ṣalawāt upon the Prophet (ṣallāLlāhu 'alayhi wa sallam), * charity, * listening to Qur’ān, * Islamic reminders, * helping others, * and avoiding sins. The Day of ʿArafah is fundamentally a day of remembrance, humility, repentance and duʿā’. The Prophet (ṣallāLlāhu 'alayhi wa sallam) said: “The best supplication is the supplication of the Day of ʿArafah.” (Jāmiʿ al-Tirmidhī). A menstruating woman can engage fully in duʿā’ and dhikr and may even spend the day more spiritually focused than some who are fasting physically. She may repeatedly say: Lā ilāha illaLlāhu waḥdahu lā sharīka lah, lahu al-mulku wa lahu al-ḥamd wa huwa ʿalā kulli shay’in qadīr. She should also make heartfelt personal supplications for: * forgiveness, * guidance, * family, * the Ummah, * peace, * righteous children, * protection, * and success in this world and the Hereafter. Allah is Most Just and Most Merciful. He does not punish a woman for something He Himself created as part of her natural condition, nor does He deprive sincere believers of His mercy because of circumstances beyond their control.
