I would partially agree here last season or before in this certain circumstance you are describing ( which wouldn’t change the fact they would do it, not to troll but to help ) - but for this season with homeguards and the super fast returns it is in most cases impossible to not int your tempo in 80%+ of the cases.
Anyhow our discussing point was the flash as reaction ( and tilt ) from a laner to this - which is 100% not the same.

People will come and gank fail then still hit the wave when their laner is like 80% hp and has half their mana bar. Thats not fixing wave state thats taxing/trolling your laner of any possible lead they’ll get.

i never said to tax the wave and if you are referring to the few xp missing when you help to push the wave it is completely irrellevant exept in some rare top lane early occassions. you anyways shouldnt play for toplane as low elo jungler in the first place except in some rare cases

Fail gank don’t hit wave, got the kill don’t hit wave, the only time you gank and hit the wave is when the laner pings you for help to do so. Waves arent a camp,jg get reduced gold when they do it too much. Lost in value.

Where do you see the implication? A jungler naturally will push the lane after a gank ( it’s for them like clearing a camp or getting help when they clear one if a laner passes by and helps - here kinglets get angry and smite, instead of understanding they get help ) - maybe this makes it more clear now.

Just perma everyone doing this. Most low elo players don’t even understand why a jungler pushes their lane to fix their wave state, then react with stuff like this. Why would people do „meme plays“ in ranked go troll in normals or wherever.
People will get mad if you do this and they will start inting as a result.
