(1/2) How it works: you donate $20 to food relief efforts and you get a watermelon and they will buy a watermelon for a family to put in their weekly grocery box. Pre-order your watermelon by sending $20 through Venmo (@cattailcooks) or Paypal (cattailcooks@gmail.com)

Cattail Cooks is organizing delivery of produce and goods to 150 families affected by COVID. To spread awareness for these relief efforts and help a local farmer, they are doing a watermelon sale to benefit food relief and support Terrance Travis from Indian Springs Farmers Coop!

(1/2) We are proud that the Eat Local Challenge and the NOLA Food Policy Advisory Committee recognize today, Juneteenth, as a holiday. We also acknowledge the working, and listening, and learning that needs to be done to honor and lift voices that need to be heard.
