Part of why orbital data centers are so important is because it’s only the second time in human history (that I know of, first being the first telco wave which ultimately failed but laid foundation for Starlink) where serious capital allocators will be forced to realize that there is greater risk in ignoring growth opportunity in space than there is risk in taking it seriously and it not working out. Sufficiently interesting return on investment a required step in a dominant capitalist society.
