Al-Karājī lived, studied, wrote, and was praised within the Ashʿarī intellectual world. His companions were Ashʿarī.His readers were Ashʿarī. His legacy was received as Ashʿarī. The attempt to conscript him into anti-Ashʿarī polemics is a project the sources simply do not permit.

@Chun_Mazino @Alelislam @Danger_For_kufr It doesn't mean they were close as you understand, but Muhammad ibn Ibrahim and even Sulayman ibn Sahman, and the rest accepted him as leader, but AMJ not only makes takfir of him, he is even considering him a filthy taghut, while for AMJ these two are great imams!

That’s literally not how jarh wal ta’dil works This is top tier madkhali projection. As they do the this, they also think rest of the world does the same as them Good for sh Amj, retards slandering him and giving him more ajr
Muslim 🇸🇩@Alelislam

AMJ said every ruler since 1903 in Saudi is a Kaffir Muhammed bin Ibrahim was close with the rulers and never made Takfir on the Saudi rulers By AMJ standards Muhammed bin Ibrahim is a Taghut Mushrik Kaffir Murji bootlicker IF they were to be consistent with their Takfir

@PiousCall This is the reason why imam al-Shafi'i said what he has said, not merely hating Ahmad makes one Kaafir... But these people who think that Ahlus-Sunnah did not takfired jahmiyyah, for them the most hated person was imam Ahmad, so why double standards?

📌 Ummah has agreed on the Imamah of Imam Ahamd, he is Imam of Ahlu Sunnah Whoever makes Takfir on Imam Ahmad is a Kafir. Al Rabi Bin Sulaiman reported Ash-Shaf'i said "Whoever hates (Imam) Ahmad is a kafir." طبقات الحنابلة ج1/ص15

📌 AbdulMalik al-Alwan (Sulayman al-Alwan’s son) was asked about his fathers opinion on those in Egypt who commit shirk by making tawaf around graves and making vows by other than Allah; are they Muslim? He answered: “My father says: Everyone who falls into major shirk-

Imām Abu Bakr As-Sibghi rh, one of the Ahl Hadith scholars from 4th century, makes takfīr of a guy that just says: “Lets leave Hadathanā, until when is Hadathanā going to be” Would he takfīr that replaces the whole Sharī’ah & legislates manmade laws? Or say kufr dūna kufr?

@StrangeAthari Just as it's not permissible to interpret this hadith as referring to KUFR, since it's known that KUFR is not forgiven except with repentance, and it is also not permissible to interpret this (hadith) as referring merely to minor sins expiated by avoiding major sins.”

@Everything2Win @ibmsulaymani He did that for a greater benefit, even that meant his sacrifice! And he didn't call for rebellion! Why? Just because blood of muslims and their honour is sacred! But they took him with force and he resisted for the sake of Islam!

@ibmsulaymani So if Imam Ahmad Rh did fear the whip and imprisonment but yet he still did it. I understand he had RUKHSA but he didn't take it. Please explain to the Awwam that this condition also exists.

One is excused from doing inkār on the leader if one fears harm for himself and his family • Ibn Rajab al-Ḥanbalī said: ❝As for engaging in armed rebellion against them, it is feared that it would lead to the turmoil that results in the shedding of Muslim blood. Indeed, if one fears, in forbidding [the evil of] the rulers, that harm may come to his family or neighbours, it is not appropriate for him to confront them at that time, given the potential harm to others. Fuḍayl Ibn ʿIyāḍ and others have expressed a similar view. Nevertheless, if one fears harm upon himself, such as the sword, whip, imprisonment, confinement, exile, seizure of wealth, or similar forms of harm, [the command of] enjoining good and forbidding evil is lifted. The scholars, including Mālik, Aḥmad, Isḥāq, and others, have explicitly stated this.❞ 📚 (Jāmiʾ al-ʿUlūm wal-Ḥikam 2/249)

@ALearningLad But in general he is weak, and his narrations from Sufyan al-Thawri especially require supporting chains. If he is alone in the isnād, the hadith is often graded weak (ضعيف).

@ALearningLad I'm aware of ibn Hibban's stance, but you can't take his word over imam Ahmad, Abu Hatim al-Razi, al-Nasai', and others...ibn Hibban lived much more later ! Even ibn Hajar al-Asqalani (Taqrīb al-Tahdhīb) said: صدوق له أوهام “Truthful, but he has mistakes.”
