Needless to say this was a surprise and extremely disappointing to Soniqs given our history and importance to North American Siege. As one of the few remaining OG organizations in the North American region, it is hard to see this as anything more than a slap in the face to what Soniqs have contributed to Rainbow Six since 2019.
From a personal standpoint, it hurts to feel as though my contributions and efforts to establish Soniqs as a premier organization within the Rainbow Six ecosystem and my efforts to promote North American Siege Esports have been completely disregarded.
Soniqs were the first North American League team to house a T2 team, the first to pay a livable wage to a T2 team, stuck with a roster through relegation and demotion, and the first to make a major region international transfer all while paying a fair salary near the top of the league every year despite only being in Tier 1 Rainbow Six Share once. Players know when they come to Soniqs they will be treated like family and every player knows how much I care about their success and Rainbow Six Siege.
Since the inception of the LAN league in 2021, Soniqs have won more North American titles than any other team and have won close to $1,000,000 despite not qualifying for EWC or winning an international event. We have been the definition of consistency for the North American region and have always done our best to represent the region well.
To our fans, I hope you understand the position Soniqs is in and know while we evaluate our position in Rainbow Six next year that we love and appreciate you all.
I look forward to seeing everyone at Boston for Six Invitational '25. Let's make this the best one yet.

@DripBoolin @KidSkys I definitely stagnated as a player so i get it even if the specifics of the cut were really grating. I feel a change of scenery would have gone a long way for me but off season nonsense pushed me away from the game as a whole

@KidSkys Same kinda thing happened my last season. Told one thing but doesn’t matter much. I do understand the idea though of not wanting to get in someone’s head before going through with the change (esp if theres still matches) but ultimately a lot of players just get blindsided.
