Painful periods are normalized from childhood, and it often takes 7–10 years to get a proper diagnosis. Women are forced to choose between living with constant pain labelled as part of being a woman. Endometriosis isn’t a “period problem”….it affects lungs, brain, diaphragm, and almost every major organ, yet the medical system still dismisses it as a minor female issue.
