@eric_hawkins9 No not at all. Replace imported, expensive, insecure fossil fuels with cheap, home grown and controllable renewables. Take back control of our energy supplies! No need to buy them from foreign owned oil companies.🙂

@McHeath @KiranSajan2021 @BasGazette Yep. We presented ideas, to the Council and Urban & Civic, on how to make this development world class in terms of minimal environmental impact. The buildings can be carbon negative; all the energy requirements could be met with locally generated cheap, renewable, electricity.

@KiranSajan2021 @BasGazette About time. We were promised affordable housing on this site 30 years ago. Now we need to ensure these homes are built to the highest possible standards and are zero carbon. @EcoBasingstoke have been campaigning for carbon negative homes decades.
