We've pulled everything we know about incremental reach into one guide. Here's how to diagnose it, measure it, and fix it. Your CPA doesn't spike randomly. It spikes because your account ran out of new people to show ads to. Incremental reach is the one Meta metric that predicts problems before they show up in your CPA. Most brands aren't tracking it. Most brands find out they have a saturation problem when costs have already risen and scaling has already stalled. It covers how Meta's AI (Andromeda, GEM, and Lattice) creates saturation at scale without you realising, the three ways to actually measure your incremental reach today, and the six levers we use with 8 and 9-figure brands to grow it - in the right order. If your CPAs are creeping up, your new creative is fatiguing faster than it used to, or scaling spend just isn't moving the needle - this is where to start. Want it? Retweet this post Comment “incremental reach” and I’ll send it over

If you’re on the fence about switching from highest volume to cost controls, read this post to make the transition easier: Look, I get it. The idea of switching feels risky. You've got spend going out the door and campaigns that are mostly working, so the last thing you want is to blow everything up. The problem is that running both strategies simultaneously is like driving with one foot on the gas and one on the brake. You're basically just burning rubber. Meta's auction prioritizes guaranteed spend (highest volume) over controlled performance (cost controls). So your highest volume campaigns eat first, and cost controls get whatever's left over. It's not a fair test (it's not even a test at all). With that, let’s talk about how to transition fairly quickly: Day 1: 1. Pull your last 30 days of performance 2. Note your current CPA (let's say $50) 3. Set cost controls 10-20% HIGHER than current ($55-60) 4. Turn off highest volume campaigns 5. Launch cost control campaigns using post IDs (keeps all social proof) What to expect: - Week 1: Minor dip (campaigns re-optimizing) - Week 2: Back to previous performance - Week 3: Start optimizing and scaling - Month 1 overall: Same performance at minimum, often better The key is to keep all your social proof by using post IDs. You're not starting from zero. The ads just need 50 purchases/week to exit learning phase. Pick a lane, commit, and your bank account will thank you. For those running both right now, what percentage of your budget is on cost controls vs. highest volume?

We just dropped iCPA on Meta 26% by doing the following: - Moved spend aggressively from VO to CO - Increased partnership spend - Added a campaign with view optimization - Scaled AEB investment - Improved reels delivery - Patched some exclusion leaks All just to improve CPMr. It’s wild how much you have to do just to have a chance of success these days. I’d like to see Manus try.

Hit me in DM or Comment - I'll send you the full program of this call - the deepest dive into the Bid Caps and Cost Caps media buying EVER. This is the exact way I scaled the account from $300 per day to $100.000+ per day of spend. No Joke.
Andrei Lunev, PhD@andreilunev

🚨You want to scale to $50K/day? $100K/day? Here's the framework. Two clients this month asked me to slow down... not because ads stopped working, but because their supply chain couldn't keep up. 100% of people who've hopped on the call with me have scaled. Zero churn rate means all of them came back with results. Because the fixes are systematic, not random. Here's what happens: First hour: I give you the complete bid caps framework - Exact bid calculation formula - Account structure Meta's dev team confirmed - Creative volume methodology - Scaling without touching budgets - Troubleshooting playbook Second hour: We apply it to YOUR account - Specific fixes for your bottlenecks - Your roadmap to scale The goal: You internalize everything. A lot of "aha" moments. You leave knowing exactly what to do. No follow-ups needed. This isn't a retainer. It's a knowledge transfer. The main purpose? Get rid of other consultants. Get rid of ME. I'm teaching you how to fish, not giving you a fish. Bonus: Exclusive Meta webinar recording (partners only, not available publicly) Zero churn rate. 100% success rate. Not because I'm holding your hand. Because the methodology works. Full program: notion.so/tegra/Facebook… For people who: ✅ Tried bid caps—they wouldn't spend ✅ CAC volatility forcing you back to lowest cost ✅ Ready to execute for guaranteed results Not for people who: ❌ Want hacks, not frameworks ❌ Expect set-and-forget ❌ Follow YouTube best practices I only do these 2-3 times per month. Apply here: notion.so/tegra/Facebook…

@andreilunev Thanks! makes sense How do you test new pages? With low cost i'll rotate a listicle, advertorial & PDP on the backend to see what works best but worried with Caps it will mess with expected action rate and not deliver Test with a higher bid? Duplicate into different adsets?

@EcomOnly 1. Multiple bid - is not a strategy. And not a test. It's spray and pray. 2. Starting with desired cac - may work, or may not, as the also may not have the expected conversion rate data. 3. Inflated bid ensures delivery. You basically emulate auto-bidding behavior.

If I had to start a new account from zero: Don't use highest volume to "warm it up." Use bid caps from Day 1. But inflate the bids (not the budget). Start at 1.5-2x target CPA. Collect data. Lower bid toward target as account learns. You get bid cap protection while feeding the algorithm data. Best of both worlds.

Last weeks I tried to see if I still got it as a Media Buyer Took a dead offer we couldn't even spend 2k/day profitable on Should be at 50k/day spend next weekend now that stock is fixed Some interesting facts: - 0 video ads - 0 "creative strategy" - no team, just me and one other guy - 25-35% front end profitable depending on the day What was done: - Tested around 30-40 advertorials - Tested 5 different price points - Improved AOV significantly - Lots of manual media buying tactics that everyone says are dead - Went way harder on research and copy than most people are willing to Here's the thing most people get wrong about Media Buying Being a Media Buyer in our company doesn't mean you upload ads and scale budgets This year we switched the whole team setup We run more like small affiliate teams now Media Buyer is the top guy responsible for everything: Angles Landers Funnel improvement Offer testing Leading his own creative team Testing and scaling ads Analyzing metrics all day to find improvements Team is leaner that way More agile Way quicker to react The hard part is finding these Media Buyer/Affiliate type of guys Most "media buyers" out there just want to push buttons and watch dashboards

i went through 20,000 auto insurance ads filtered out everything except the 250 that did $1M+ in ad spend in 2026 most ads never even touch this level these ones survived scale, policy pressure, and volume not the obvious bullshit everyone copies from the ad library. not “save $500 now”. not before/after. not us vs them. i’m talking about hooks that: * get clicks from people who actually qualify * pre-sell the call before they ever hit the form * survive account rotations and policy changes * still work when everyone else is crying about cpl most affiliates never see these because they’re too busy cloning trash. we use these hooks internally to scale auto insurance without blowing up accounts or quality. i’m not posting them publicly. if you want the winning hooks we actually use for auto insurance comment **WINNING** and i’ll send it. (must like + follow) if you’re still running “free quote in 30 seconds” don’t bother.
