@shrutammegopaya I think Theil talks about this, U need to have a vision a goal and hold fast to it, if ur whole schtick is i'll just iterate u by and large just end up at the median outcome, great things come from conviction, and conviction comes from the world of the Gods

For most important things in life there are no A/B tests Be it life decisions (like career choice, partner choice) Major investment decisions Government choices (e.g. the what if of 2014-2024 under continued UPA rule) Public policy choices What IFs in history (e.g. what if Battle of Tarain had been lost by Ghori) We only have controlled A/B tests for trivial unimportant things E.g. Did Marketing creative A work better than B Did discount X do better than discount Y

The Ottoman Empire started to decline because the Sultan fell in love with a hot young Slavic woman who had him wrapped around her finger and made him disinherit his firstborn and appoint her drunk idiot son his successor. This is still how 50% of businesses fail to this day.

I wonder how much of support in the favor of Iran is due to Epstein files. Judeostanatic cabal raeping kids, strangling them and eating their flesh has made even neutral normie folks feel disgusted with them. If Iran survives this, they’re going to be major power in gulf

@IndianTintin_ This ks the classic I dont want to associate with Indians problem, being Pakistani reduces the AASI percentage in ppls heads by 25-30 percent, southie stars dont care for aasi probs as much as punjabis and sindhis (majority of bollywood) do

Old Bollywood was pro Pakistan because diaspora Pakistanis in Gulf and Anglosphere were a big chunk of their box office. Sample the Srk starrer "Pathaan". From some reports I read, apparently 45% of its earnings were from 'overseas'. Now why would Srk alienate his loyal pak fanbase? Ganda hai par Dhandha hai yeh. I am not particularly hawkish btw. I just want it to be mainstream in Bollywood to point to Pak establishment nurturing jihadist proxies against India. It's not asking for much. Many educated Pakistanis themselves know and say this. Why can't Srk, Ranbir etc say this too?

Dhurandhar 2 has been praised so far by Allu Arjun, Vijay Deverakonda, Jr NTR, and Mahesh Babu. any Bollywood star tweeted kya??

This is not a new military strategy. It is a very old one. Look up every colonial war in the last several hundred years. Heck. Just look up the American Revolution. The British managed to hold all of the major American cities, attacked the capital, and won most battles.
Legal Phil@Legal_Fil

I'm fascinated by the emerging consensus that having your navy and air force destroyed, your leadership killed off, and having lost complete control of your air space is actually evidence that one is winning. Crazy that we are only now discovering this new military strategy.

@HinkieBrown @dorm_strapper @learning_pt Not Iran the global economy, refinery capacity is hard to bring back online, plus without refining u dont get all those by products which means costs shoot up for every single thing, it takes about 1-3 months depending on the sector to see the effects

This is not old Bangalorean list. That would be pleasant weather and high trust society, two things that have been irreversibly lost. Let me give you an example of high trust society. In the mid 2000s, I stole a bryan adams CD from Planet M. Nepali security caught me and was being aggressive. The guy in charge took me aside to a corner away from the guard. Spoke to me calmly and assured me there is no issue and that I could take the CD and pay the next day. I refused on principle. Said I'd pay when I have the money. He also told me he had to shout at me because otherwise the Nepali guard would get demotivated. So he pretended to shout at me and then apologised. I left, returned the next day and bought it. Everything sorted. He didn't call my home to inform my aunt(guardian), did not call the cops or my school. This Bangalore is dead.
Pranjali@Pranj_Sometimes

Things Bangaloreans can’t live without: cafe hopping, startup ideas, dosa & filter coffee, Cubbon Park walks, Church Street scenes, pubs on weekends and of course, traffic + metro balance!
