@NoodleHairCR7 don’t think Messi gives a shit. Mbappé’s got a Hattrick in the final last time look what happened
English

@OginiSolomon only reason why Ronaldo‘s stats are higher than Messi because he’s older. If you were going to go by point of goal at the exact same age Messi has always been higher. Even when you put it in perspective of the number of games they’ve played Messi is higher.

@Letter_to_Jack might as well make the golden boots the Ballon d’Or then.

This guy should win the Ballon D’or.
Individually, he has had a very good year.

🚨🚨| If Kylian Mbappé wins the 2026 FIFA World Cup Golden Boot, he will become the 𝐅𝐈𝐑𝐒𝐓 𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐑 player to win the: →LaLiga Golden Boot →UEFA Champions League Golden Boot →FIFA World Cup Golden Boot All in the same season. 🐐🇫🇷

Cristiano Ronaldo won three consecutive Champions League titles, four Champions Leagues in five years, and finished as the top scorer in every single one of those campaigns. He then went on to captain Portugal to their first-ever major international trophy by winning Euro 2016.
All of that happened within a five year span.
And you think one Sunday is supposed to erase everything he accomplished?
That’s exactly what recency bias looks likeand we’re seeing more of it now than ever.
English

Messi can win a second World Cup if he wants. The moment Cristiano Ronaldo reaches 1,000 career goals, the criteria will change again.
Only one player in football history will own that milestone: Cristiano Ronaldo.
And since World Cups suddenly decide everything, Pelé won three without the refereeing controversies surrounding Messi’s runs. Pelé moves into second place, and Messi can battle for third.
That’s how moving the goalposts works, apparently.
