@MorosKostas Illinois has the Gun Dealer Licensing Act, likely for the same reasons. You can't "not comply" with AWB when the ISP has its foot on your neck. Lots of FFLs have folded here in recent years. Local prosecutors say they won't enforce some of the laws on the books. Ok, sure.

Update: not an illegal SBS. They sold him a Maverick 88 security, which has an 18.5 inch barrel. The plaintiffs theory of the case is that because California only allows those under 21 to buy a gun if they have a hunting license, the gun shop should have ONLY sold the young man a hunting shotgun with a longer barrel. Why any of that matters for a suicide...is anyone's guess. Giffords (who is backing this) is just trying to punish gun dealers for existing. Even standard pump shotguns are now reckless to sell I guess!
