I’ve said this before and I will say it again: If eating meat *could* affect the environment to the degree that the earth would be in danger of burning up, I would use the flames as the planet dies a fiery death to sear a ribeye medium-rare in one last stubbornly rebellious meal.

Sometimes @historybythpint and I sit at the dinner table for a few minutes afyer we’re done eating waiting for the maids to come take away our plates. And then we remember that we don’t have maids. 🤬

During one live webinar that was being recorded for work, this inept woman had her camera and mic on while she slurped her way through a bowl of cereal in her pajamas. The speaker begged her to mute her mic, but she obliviously continued slurping away like an idiot. The recording was sent out featuring this tech genius, and we got so many complaints.

@WriteGrlProbs New York -- and I'm not even starting in NYC going from my house to take my kid to college near the border with Canada. It's pretty when I drive through the Adirondacks most of NY state is state forests... it's pretty empty

Everyone claps back by mentioning the obvious states, but no one is saying that even our medium states have long drives. We drove along the Illinois Great River Road by the Mississippi and that was probably 7 hours. Rockford to Metropolis is a solid 6 hours…that feels like 14.

@WriteGrlProbs @EnochStevens0n Oh yes! As a writer I’d imagine the fantastical and romantic depictions of the world helps tremendously? I think a part of writing is world building, outside of just character creation. I haven’t thought much about that, thank you.

Things you may not know about me: 1. I've been in a funk the past couple months. 2. I have an ENORMOUS perfume collection that I almost never wear. 3. My taste in music is wide and varied. In an attempt to pull myself out of my funk with things that make me happy, I'm going to start wearing a perfume every day, and I'm going to try to start my days with music instead of doomscrolling. I may document that here. I may not. But I'm telling you all so I'll actually do it.
