Very happy that @saharatlarge and I were just elected as Convenors of the Jurisprudence Section of the Society of Legal Scholars (@legalscholars). We've big shoes to fill: congratulations to @GlexAreen & @drjoshdoeslaw for their stewardship of the Section over the last 3 years 👏

We're excited to present the term card for the Irish Jurisprudence Society workshops for the 2024-25 academic year, taking place this year in @tcddublin. Thanks to all who submitted abstracts for consideration. We hope to see as many of you as possible at the workshops!

Someone seems to have turned my OJLS paper Applying Laws Across Time: Disentangling the ‘Always Speaking’ Principles into a video, complete with photographs, signs etc.! You can also read it here: academic.oup.com/ojls/article/d…

We’re looking forward to the start of the new academic year and we will be publishing our line-up of exciting legal theory events shortly. Do you know that we are on Bluesky? It’s the best place to get updates on our events and activities. Follow us here: bsky.app/profile/legalt…!
