International law is sacrosanct when Starmer thinks it suits his pet projects, like surrendering Chagos. But it’s brushed aside when it doesn’t support his agenda. Abiding by international law was the one thing Starmer seemed to actually believe in. But with Labour backbenchers turning on him he’s abandoned it. Starmer really is the puppet Prime Minister.

I never understood the claim that Palestine does’nt have defined borders since ~40% of Israel’s presumably *defined* borders are with Palestine. But this added requirement by John Spencer is absurd considering Palestine has never invaded anyone and Israel has attacked 🇱🇧 🇸🇾 🇮🇷 🇾🇪

I might suggest, in all humility, that before @BBCNews reports what 'top lawyers' say about the recognition of Palestine, they might care to ask someone - anyone really - who knows the first thing about the relevant area of law.
