So sorry to say redoubtable indy campaigner Mike Blackshaw has died at Marie Curie Hospice. It was peaceful & his brother was there. Mike battled a host of ailments to keep Yessers active with @YesCafeEdSouth a host of Queen's Hall gigs & Brexit demo on Jan 31 2020. RIP my pal.

We had a wonderful time talking to so many friendly visitors from France, Germany and the Netherlands, in Stockbridge today. They all told us that they love Scotland and want to see us back in the EU, as soon as Scotland is independent! #EuropeDay

Scotland welcomes #refugees – but we are stymied by callous @ukhomeoffice EU & other European countries provide sanctuary for 1000s fleeing war in #Ukraine; UK puts obstacles in their path. Edinburgh today: #YesforEU folk gathered at UK govt hub to call out their shameful policy.

@meljomur The ASDA at Chester used to be my corner shop. Can't count the times I went in there at midnight for a pint of milk and came out an hour later with a trolley full of stuff.

My insomnia makes me wish we had 24 hour supermarkets here in the UK. I remember back in the day, doing my grocery shopping at 3am in San Francisco. It was interesting, that's for sure.
