The Cavs were at one point resistant to another reunion with LeBron James but might be more open to the idea now, per @TheSteinLine. Do you want to see LeBron back in Cleveland?

@EdScarlet19 @ElomNunck @BangSwitchMatt There’s a lot a person has to do, including federal background check with fingerprints, but it’s worth it considering the loonies in this state. Most of my family have their LTC’s. We ain’t all blue libs 😀

Not sure how I am only just now hearing this*, but in case you had not heard it, that POS dirtbag with the AR that went on a shooting rampage in Cambridge, MA the other day, he was stopped by an armed civilian who was joined by a cop, they worked as a team, and stopped the suspect. You know, ALL of the stuff that the antigun crowd says NEVER happens. In fact, this one incident is the perfect example of how every relevant democrat policy is dead wrong. - Democrat soft on crime policies put a multiple time convicted felon and attempted cop killer back on the street in the blink of an eye. - MA strict gun laws (rated an A by Giffords) did absolutely nothing to prevent a convicted felon from getting a gun. - An armed private citizen actually engaged the suspect. - When the cops arrived, despite what antigun Dems love to say, the cop was immediately able to tell the difference between the armed civilian and the armed shitbag. - The cops did not shoot the wrong person. - The armed civilian did not shoot a bunch of random innocent people. - The armed civilian and the cop worked together to end the situation, saving innocent lives. Guns Save Lives! Practice your ABC's - Always Be Carrying! (* Actually, I do know why it took so long to come out, the MSM doesn't like it when armed civilians save the day.)

Gun-owner and daughter of a gun instructor here. You can’t legally shoot someone for punching you one time in the face. Especially after intentionally trying to incite violence.

ChudTheBuilder shot a man who attacked him outside a courthouse in Clarksville & accidentally grazed himself in the process. Before it escalated, he asked the man if he was going to “chimp out” the man then walked up & sucker punched him. It is unclear if the man survived.

Game 7 of the World Series. Bottom of the 9th. Bases loaded, 2 outs, and your team is down by 1 Nolan Ryan is on the mound. You have your choice of any hitter, of any era in his prime. Who gets the call?

@Mrgunsngear Lowe’s has had them for years. Employees aren’t allowed to confront shoplifters - I was present when they fired a 28-year employee for following a guy out to the parking lot. They let them walk use the information acquired through technology to pursue them later.

"I know (LeBron and Luka) don't get along very well. (LeBron) doesn't do well when he's in a locker room that's toxic. I would imagine that being in Cleveland with James Harden who he's close to, with Donovan Mitchell...I just think it would be a happier place for LeBron as a basketball player." ➡️ @sportsreiter w/ @NickWilsonSays and @JPeterlin on the future for LeBron James, potential return to #Cavs

"Talking to sources, 50/50. The guy I talked to today, a former GM who I really respect...he thinks he's probably going to Cleveland, but he thinks it really depends on the degree to which the Lakers do or don't want LeBron to be back. I think Cleveland makes the most sense." 🚨 @sportsreiter w/ @NickWilsonSays and @JPeterlin on the next move for LeBron this offseason, potential return to the #Cavs

The modern taboo against men crossing their legs is very strange. This used to be a completely normal thing. In fact, it was women who weren't supposed to cross their legs. Instead, they were encouraged to keep their legs together and only cross their ankles. We see this in Victorian etiquette guides, such as The Lady's Guide to Perfect Gentility (1856), which described crossing one's legs as very unlady-like. By contrast, a contemporaneous title published for men, The Gentlemen's Book of Etiquette and Manual of Politeness (1860), doesn't mention leg crossing at all, suggesting this was considered acceptable for men. In fact, I would argue that crossing one's legs was considered polite, decorous, and "refined" up until about the 1970s or 80s. Think of leading Hollywood actors, playwrights, and intellectuals in the first half of the 20th century. Portraits of them often show them wearing a suit and crossing their legs. When the senior US commanders of WW2 gathered for a photo in 1945, they posed in the same manner. My guess is that the switch happened sometime in the mid-20th century. Much like how soft pink used to be coded for boys and light blue for girls — which switched shortly after women adopted pink for themselves, spurred on by Mamie Eisenhower's love for the color — men grew scared of being perceived as feminine or possibly gay/queer once women adopted the posture. It's a peculiar dichotomy that Western society has become freer in terms of gender and sexuality. Yet, this freedom has caused undue anxiety among certain men who fear being perceived as feminine or gay. Either way, it's worth noting that if you care about Western traditions — that 1950 life so valorized by some — sitting cross-legged is actually the conservative position.
