@mitcharj @Heart_BMJ It’s good that it’s been recognised by Kumar et al. Raises a few questions. We know we aren’t doing enough strength training as a population, but are we incorporating it enough into cardiac rehab, and should we be putting patients awaiting TAVI in whilst waiting for the surgery?

@mitcharj @Heart_BMJ Sarcopenia is lethal. It causes people to lose independence, increases their chance of falling, and begin their downward spiral. IMO should be akin to T2 diabetes. We should be doing our best to get people moving more, especially strength training. The young as well as the old.
