Cachexia is not something I hear talked about much in palliative care day to day…. I do hear the term “disease progression” a lot. In many cases they are synonymous

@Existential_Doc Yeah not finding evidence that prokinetics cause migration... but also no evidence they improve symptoms but that's not what we see in practice ... I'll let you know what I find out (literature search on my horizon)

@EdelOBrien9 One thought- if the stomach is slowed down and gets overfilled as patients starts eating and drinking again could that downward pressure or repeated vomiting cause the stent to migrate?
In that case a gentle dose of prokinetic before any early oral intake makes sense?
