🏆 In 2017, I was on assignment at the Emirates with a visit to @Arsenal for a week. My friend and renowned journalist, Xolani Gwala, had been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer and was undergoing treatment already. Having no idea of what would ever bring a flicker of a smile given his condition, I walked into that Arsenal shop and all of a sudden I knew that this might be the mental/psychological magic he deserves. Bought him a number of items and when I went to see him immediately after landing back home, he immediately told me that he has to fit the items on immediately especially because he can't even remember when last they won the league. 9yrs later #Arsenal are LEAGUE CHAMPIONS!! I know you are proud and celebrating tonight mhlonishwa!! CONGRATULATIONS MPHEPHETHWA!!! FINALLY!!🥇 Continue to rest easy CHAMP!!! 🙏🏽💔🙏🏽🕊

I’ll speak as a Chiefs supporter. I don’t like this karate thing that Chiefs is adopting. It’s poor quality football. We did it against pirates and now against sundowns. What it says to me is that the technical team are vacuous in capacity to come up with footballing ways to compete with teams that player better than they do. Not to mention the fact that it produced zeros wins in both games. This is not our identity. We may be going thru a confusing time as a club but this style of football ain’t us 🚮

#Wanted Lephalale police are requesting public assistance in tracing a 37-year-old female, Cynthia Kgwete believed to be able to assist in solving a fraud case. It is alleged that on Monday, 02 February 2026, Nedbank opened a fraud case at Lephalale police station for investigation. Preliminary investigations revealed that the suspect allegedly posed as a client and applied for vehicle finance to purchase a Ford Ranger Double Cab. During the application process, the suspect submitted a false documentation and further misrepresented her employment and income details to secure approval from the bank. The application was approved, and the bakkie was released to the suspect. It was also later discovered that a tracking device fitted to the vehicle was removed shortly after it left the dealership. No instalments were paid to the bank and upon further investigation, the bank discovered it had been defrauded by the 37-year-old and reported the matter to the police. A case of fraud was registered, and investigations revealed that the suspect provided a false working address and residential address in Gauteng Province. A warrant of arrest was issued and police are appealing to anyone with information about the whereabouts of the suspect as appearing on the photo, to urgently contact the Investigating Officer Sergeant Simon Tjatjie Kekana on 078 472 0505, Crime Stop number 08600 10111, nearest police station or may share information on MySAPS App. Police investigations are continuing.

This is Brigadier Matshidiso Kgoadi, Sunnyside SAPS Commander, who’s running a toxic and abusive workplace that has pushed Police officers to breaking point. She humiliated one officer daily, calling him a “useless fool” in front of junior members. On one devastating day, the insults became so severe that he broke down in tears, Matshidiso Kgoadi stood in front of Police Officers, & said her treatment would drive them all to suicide. Many Police Officers have resigned before reaching retirement because they could no longer endure the bullying under her leadership. When the officer committed suicide because of her bullying, she blocked an official memorial service for the deceased officer simply because he was not part of her inner circle. Colleagues were then forced to dig into their own pockets to give him a dignified send-off on 23 April 2026. Matshidiso Kgoadi also pours water on chairs in the charge office to stop officers from sitting, forcing them to stand for 12-hour shifts even when there are no members of the public to assist. Officers say they are shouted at and degraded daily.
