Another Euro pro coming to play college basketball. Interestingly, he kept his name in the 2024 NBA draft. Under new NCAA rules going into effect tomorrow, you lose your eligibility if you don’t withdraw from the NBA draft. Will it apply to Ellis?

St John's lands one of the better prospects in Europe with 6-4 English guard Quinn Ellis The 23-year old guard is having a strong season with Milan in the Euroleague averaging 7.7 PPG, 3.5 RPG, 4.2 APG on 46/33/81 splits Strong size at the PG spot, he's a smart, savvy PG that offers St Johns day one leadership and playmaking.

March Madness 2026 spēlēs tikai viens basketbolists no Latvijas.

This is such an important point. The real issue is that universities and conferences aren’t pushing hard enough to find solutions. With visa rules so complex, the real hostages are the international athletes, who take on most of the risk. #NIL4ALL
Katie Davis@KatieDavisCPA

Is an agent pushing you to pay athlete revenue share to an international LLC instead of the athlete? That move adds layers of tax and withholding complexity that the big 3rd party payors aren't equipped to handle, and more schools are walking into this trap every week.

When people ask me what I think the future of NIL looks like, my answer is simple: we haven’t even scratched the surface. When NIL first passed, college athletes were just that… athletes. They grew up focused on training, competition, and performing at the highest level. Sure, some had hobbies, but very few were natural content creators or entrepreneurs. But what about the YouTube generation? The kids who grew up eating Cheerios in high chairs with iPads? Ask a 6-year-old today what they want to be when they grow up and many will say “a YouTuber.” The world is shifting…. it’s digital first. Quote me on this: in three years, some kids will start playing sports not just to compete but to tap into NIL as a way to build their personal brands. Look at the Savannah Bananas. Nobody knew “banana ball” when Jesse Cole first started it, but now it’s a viral phenomenon. Sports and entertainment are colliding in ways we’ve never seen before. And if you don’t get ahead of the curve, you’ll be left behind. Even now, we’re seeing it. A Clemson walk-on is using his position on the team to launch his music career. He’s even leveraging Clemson facilities and the Tiger logo… which carry an organic, built-in fan base to drive listeners to his songs. Go to his Instagram and you’d think he’s an artist first, athlete second. The future of NIL won’t just be about deals. It’s about identity, creativity, and the athletes who understand how to build a brand in a digital-first world. lnkd.in/eXnveAXu

If you’ve felt limited by visa rules or unsure what’s allowed with NIL, you’re not alone. 🌍 Here’s how you can make a difference: ✅ Share your story or ask questions—your voice matters. ✅ Learn about options like the P-1A visa that could open doors. #NIL4ALL #International
NOCAP Sports@NOCAPSports

If you’ve: ✅ Played 1+ year in college ✅ Represented your country ✅ Held a national ranking or competed internationally You might already qualify for a P-1A visa. Most schools aren’t using it. We can help you fix that.

The craziest part is left out that international @CarlosFuentes_5 was not allowed to monetise NIL in college, so he helped his teammates do it. Moments like March Madness carry real value. Yet international athletes are still excluded from the NIL equation. #NIL4ALL
