The numbers dont bounce off the page, but with less walks lower ERA and FIP you would have to fancy Cole vs Sasaki. Bullpens both fresh after the break so when you look at pure numbers NYY has a 3.39 vs LA's 3.55 ERA. Not much to split the two pens but a key not is LA does have a meaninful edge with K/9 at 9.1 vs NYY 8.8. Offense its almost identical.But the power is clearly in the yankees advantage with a higher OPS and ISO. Phillies reliever Brad Keller has a torn UCL and is expected to miss the rest of the season. If he undergoes surgery on his right elbow, it would keep him out a significant portion, if not all, of 2027 as well. Keller signed a two-year, $22 million deal over the winter.

Todays Read on the only Game in the MLB Phillies vs Mets Nola vs Scott. This is a very tight matchup. And not an easy one to say where the data is showing any real EDGE. Clearly the numbers and data in most categories for Scott suggest this should be a favourable matchup for the Mets. Both teams defense is average to bad. Phillies at -15 and the Mets at -18 with OAA. The offense going into the All Star Break was far better for the Mets than the Phillies. Phillies averaged 3.7 runs in there last 30 games vs Mets 4.0 and respective OPS 0.66 vs 0.76. One key note is Phillies Vs RHP are .299 where as the mets against RHP are .244 so this will be interesting how the Pitching Matchups vs respective offences plays out. #MLB #LGM #Mets #Phillies
