@that_kind_oforc Horde apparently dont use magic anymore. We are too stupid as the Alliance/and elf stans believe.. we were able to get an army together for some stupid stone dwarves but not for one of our actual members of the Horde. like the fact the Horde isn't mentioned or talked about is sad

@that_kind_oforc What's funny is Lor'themar is married to the leader of the nightborne and where is she and her people. She's a powerful mage, her people are experts in magic why didn't they show up? You mean arator and the sons of lothar can travel far just fine but no one else can?

My favourite part is everyone trying to defend the hordes exclusion by going “no one has time to gather any armies” Next weeks chapter is going to pull the rug out from under that defence, but I know the story defenders will not care- it’s just about defending blizz

@that_kind_oforc But that would require Blizz to care about building the races/factions up without the other factions involvement or help which they lost along time ago 😞

@that_kind_oforc How cool it be if we got an orc only questchain that sees Ariok not have the mindset of Etrigg and goes to Blackrock Mountain to try and sway some of the Dark Horde to the Blackrock clan. What if we also swayed some of the ogres and forest trolls to join Ariok's clan.

No, it’s not the “feminisation” of WoW that ruined Warcraft. It’s the “disneyfication”. As a girl who grew up with this game, I observed a deeply feminine side to WoW from vanilla which made the world deeper and more interesting for all players. It was something that harmonised with the grit, darkness and the epic fantasy adventure that was Warcraft. The modern aesthetic isn’t dividing the playerbase due to the game being inherently more “girly” or feminine”. It’s happening because they moved away from the things that made it authentically “Warcraft” and traded their identity in favor of a kind of cartoon theme park aesthetic. In some places, remnants of older WoW linger, but in others, its original essence has eroded beyond recognition. It doesn’t mean that the game is bad - it still has a dedicated playerbase. However, the reality is, it’s different now. At this point, a lot of what made WoW truly “Warcraft” can only be revisited in earlier versions of the game.

@BaalTheWarlock The other problem is I think Blizzard can't separate the story and the ability to play with the other faction now. I think that has been a major problem as to why things have changed and I think they need stop looking at it that way.

@BaalTheWarlock The factions are core to WoW and Warcraft. They have their own stories and ideals. Blizzard needs to bring back faction only questing and let the factions grow and build. This homogenizing is killing them.

All Blizzard had to do was a cold war scenario Have the factions alternate instigation over the years, both factions have pro war characters and anti war characters Instead Blizzard villain batted the Horde each time and the Alliance was stripped of all its war characters.

I haven’t seen one positive reaction to this interview. Not one. Don’t torch the Warcraft you have chasing a version that only exists as a 20 year plan to capture “as many people as possible”. That’s how you lose it all.

@BaalTheWarlock If ego/narcissism is why you cant create or use your imagination within the world and lore that has been established just because you want to do it your way then I dont think those people should be creating things for said world.

@BaalTheWarlock Devs get all this freedom to do whatever they want and not following canon/established lore because creating something out of established lore is "hard" has been a problem for years.... Someone needs to have oversight and say No or say read the wowwiki atleast.

I think Midnight lore is a testament to how the idea that the Devs can do whatever they want and the story team only exists to help them do whatever they want instead of correcting them on canon is objectively Bad and Very Stupid for long-term narrative. No canon = no attachment.

@Jct2626 I agree when it comes to experimenting. They need to evolve but for example is Dastardly Duos really worth the resources as an experiment. Or they create something that could be good like awaken the Machine, but they don't expand on it, and it comes out half backed.

People say this is a pipeline issue with Blizz, the devs are too busy having to do Harranir customisation to do DH customisation or better Amani customisation. I question why Blizz put SO much effort into Harranir to the point they can’t do options their xpac feature DH?

@Jct2626 I wish they would do things for PvP. I love to PvP. I have been hoping and wishing. They could get people into PvP more if they added in things that people will grind for like mounts, transmog, toys, titles etc. Doesn't have to be crazy stuff.

@EdictofGrom But PvP is ultimately now dependent on esports community and linear gameplay like wow just does not hold up against live or action combat games.

@that_kind_oforc Like I want orcs to be orcs again. I want the forsaken to be what they were before Calia. Watching the tbc cinematic with the blood elf turning that mana wyrm into energy makes me miss what they were. Now they are just regular elves.... make factions great again.

@that_kind_oforc Factions are key part of WoW. They have their own stories and interests. They think WoW started with BFA. People need to pickup a wow history book. Before bfa we had faction tension and skirmishes. Not full bfa wars and it worked. Everything is becoming homogeneous.

yeah theres a reason Dracthyr and Earthen feel so weak and disconnected from the world and the factions......
