Macron: We agreed at G7 that the Iran war in no way justifies lifting sanctions on Russia. They must continue. This situation must not reduce our attention to Ukraine, its support, and the clarity we have about sanctions. 1/

If the United States and Europe are strong, if they don’t buy Russian oil and gas, if people stand by the principles they declare, and if pressure on Russia is strong and clear – if all these things work properly, the war will end as quickly as possible. Otherwise, it will last longer than we estimate. Normal people really want it to end tomorrow – or yesterday, as we say. But no matter what, Russia doesn’t have enough power to occupy us. It simply doesn’t. From an interview with Gordon Repinski (2/2).

Tonight, we adorn our European institutions with the colours of Ukraine. Two colours, carrying the spirit of courage.
Two colours, burning with resistance. Four years into Russia’s full-scale war, these colours are shining brighter than ever Slava Ukraini.

"When your “ally” sounds exactly like your invader —that’s not diplomacy. That’s a sellout." Indeed. American betrayal of Ukraine is its betrayal of decades of alliances and centuries of democratic values.

🔥 Zelenskyy: Both the U.S. and Russia tell Ukraine: “If you want the war to end, leave Donbas.” When your “ally” sounds exactly like your invader — that’s not diplomacy. That’s a sellout. 200,000 civilians live there. Thousands killed defending every inch.

His helmet bears portraits of our athletes who were killed by Russia. Figure skater Dmytro Sharpar, who was killed in combat near Bakhmut; Yevhen Malyshev, a 19-year-old biathlete killed by the occupiers near Kharkiv; and other Ukrainian athletes whose lives were taken by Russia’s war. I thank the flag bearer of our national team at the Winter Olympics, Vladyslav Heraskevych, for reminding the world of the price of our struggle. This truth cannot be inconvenient, inappropriate, or called a “political demonstration at a sporting event.” It is a reminder to the entire world of what modern Russia is. And this is what reminds everyone of the global role of sport and the historic mission of the Olympic movement itself – it is all about peace and for the sake of life. Ukraine remains faithful to this. Russia proves the opposite.

—— Today I’m going to tell you about the helmet in which I will compete at the Olympic Games in just a few days. On the helmet are depicted athletes who were killed during the war — or to be more precise, only a small fraction of them. It is unfair, and these people should not have left us at such a young age. With this I want to pay tribute to these individuals and to their families. The world needs to know the true price of Ukrainian freedom.

This new graphic from @thenerve_news could be so much bigger but we wanted to show 3 essential nodes in Peter Thiel’s sphere of influence: Silicon Valley, Washington & the UK. In Britain, our govt is so naive about Thiel & what his company Palantir really is.

🎯 Any one of these Russian attacks on Ukrainian civilians would be front-page news around the world requiring immediate action were they committed by terrorists in Berlin or Paris or London or New York. Normalizing the intentional slaughter of innocents is horrific.
Jay Nordlinger@jaynordlinger

Ask yourself: What if Ukrainian forces attacked maternity hospitals in Russia, and buses transporting Russian coalminers? What if they were murdering innocents, every day? Wouldn't the White House and everyone else condemn Ukraine? Why the indifference to Ukrainian lives?

Belgian Prime Minister Bart De Wever, "President Trump is hostile to the idea of the European Union" "When he says he loves Europe, he means he loves 27 countries, that would be slaves to the US" "Because the only economy strong enough to stand up to Trump is the European Union, and he doesn't like it" "I thought we would see Trump saying: Mr Putin get out of Ukraine" "Instead we see an American administration that says between Putin and Zelensky, they don't take sides" "So between tyranny, invading democracy, the Unites States under Trump says: we don't take sides" "This may disappear after Trump, but we cannot bet on that. Wow USA, this one must hurt!!! “We do not want to be rich like Americans. Look how greedy they are, even trying to invade their friends. We would not sell ourselves. We know what happened to Indigenous people in Alaska and Native Americans. Their land was taken, and they were not treated well.” — Greenlandic politician Tillie Martinussen That is not a throwaway jab, it is a full moral indictment. It flips the usual American self image on its head: wealth is not automatically admired, and power is not automatically respected. When someone says they would rather stay themselves than become “rich like Americans,” they are basically saying the brand is broken, and the history is part of the reason. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. dedicated his life fighting for equity and justice. He taught us that even in the face of intimidation and discrimination, we must never stop working towards a better future – a lesson that feels especially relevant today. Change has never been easy. It takes persistence and determination, and requires all of us to speak out and stand up for what we believe in. As we honor Dr. King today, let’s draw strength from his example, and do our part to build on his legacy.

I posted about this incredible documentary when I met Talankin a few months ago. It’s in wider release now and deserves all acclaim and attention. Please see it and support it and learn about real life in Putin‘s Russia, a police state preparing deeply for permanent war.

SCOTUS still hasn’t ruled on the constitutionality of Trump’s tariffs and many US companies have already taken steps to preserve their right to sue for refunds if they’re deemed unlawful. Americans consumers are paying tariffs that may be reimbursed with taxpayer-backed money.

Although he may be blunt, I believe that Trump is right. The High North could easily become a conflict zone and Greenlanders know Denmark is in no position to defend Greenland even with NATO help. Most Greenlanders want independence, but prefer Denmark not because they speak Danish (they don’t), it’s because of health care provision. Contrary to popular belief in Europe, some States, like Massachusetts, offer good State healthcare and if Greenland were to become a State or Territory of 🇺🇸, Greenland could choose to have the same provision with Federal subsidies. No Greenlander wants to be Russian or Chinese.
Michael Fabricant 🇬🇧🇺🇸🇮🇱🇺🇦@Mike_Fabricant

President Trump via TruthSocial: “We have subsidized Denmark, and all of the Countries of the European Union, and others, for many years by not charging them Tariffs, or any other forms of remuneration. Now, after Centuries, it is time for Denmark to give back — World Peace is at stake! China and Russia want Greenland, and there is not a thing that Denmark can do about it. They currently have two dogsleds as protection, one added recently. Only the United States of America, under PRESIDENT DONALD J. TRUMP, can play in this game, and very successfully, at that! Nobody will touch this sacred piece of Land, especially since the National Security of the United States, and the World at large, is at stake. On top of everything else, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, France, Germany, The United Kingdom, The Netherlands, and Finland have journeyed to Greenland, for purposes unknown. This is a very dangerous situation for the Safety, Security, and Survival of our Planet. These Countries, who are playing this very dangerous game, have put a level of risk in play that is not tenable or sustainable. Therefore, it is imperative that, in order to protect Global Peace and Security, strong measures be taken so that this potentially perilous situation end quickly, and without question. Starting on February 1st, 2026, all of the above mentioned Countries (Denmark, Norway, Sweden, France, Germany, The United Kingdom, The Netherlands, and Finland), will be charged a 10% Tariff on any and all goods sent to the United States of America. On June 1st, 2026, the Tariff will be increased to 25%. This Tariff will be due and payable until such time as a Deal is reached for the Complete and Total purchase of Greenland. The United States has been trying to do this transaction for over 150 years. Many Presidents have tried, and for good reason, but Denmark has always refused. Now, because of The Golden Dome, and Modern Day Weapons Systems, both Offensive and Defensive, the need to ACQUIRE is especially important. Hundreds of Billions of Dollars are currently being spent on Security Programs having to do with “The Dome,” including for the possible protection of Canada, and this very brilliant, but highly complex system can only work at its maximum potential and efficiency, because of angles, metes, and bounds, if this Land is included in it. The United States of America is immediately open to negotiation with Denmark and/or any of these Countries that have put so much at risk, despite all that we have done for them, including maximum protection, over so many decades. Thank you for your attention to this matter! DONALD J. TRUMP PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA”

Troops from European countries are arriving in Greenland to defend the territory from us. Let that sink in. And now Trump is setting tariffs on our allies, making you pay more to try to get territory we don’t need. The damage this President is doing to our reputation and our relationships is growing, making us less safe. If something doesn’t change we will be on our own with adversaries and enemies in every direction. Republicans in Congress need to stand up to Trump.
