At the meeting we discussed the equality act and how it can be used to protect you against racist policies from the boss, the working time directive's maximum hours, and how the law can only do so much-- real power comes from solidarity!!

Edinburgh Branch helped out with this Saturday's @IWW_PAWA meeting in Inverness! We had a lovely conversation about everyone's workplace and lives, learned a bit about employment law in Scotland, and had some delicious Jamaican food!
