@HeatherHook4 @techteach_csub I really like this idea. I especially like the part of informing/teaching about digital citizenship. It would be beneficial for both.

@techteach_csub offer a tech night for the parents & introduce them to the tech being used in the classroom along with any tech/apps/programs we ask students to use at home. Go over digital citizenship. I am lost helping my kids because of the tech. #techquestportfolio13

@techteach_csub It would be beneficial to inform parents about the technology that is being used and what is expected from students. Since some families don't have the availability to have the same tech at home, it would be good to not assign tech work for HW. #techquestportfolio13

@LauraRegalado02 @techteach_csub I think creating a positive environment is a good idea. Some kids can have that home and don't have anyone to talk to so we could be that safe spot for them and that ear they need to talk to.

@techteach_csub I think the best way be to make them aware of their digital footprint and the effects it can have if they leave a negative footprint. I want to teach my students to be responsible and mindful of others and to think before the they post. #techquestportfolio12

@JanettOlea @techteach_csub I agree. I found the tutorial video very helpful for math. They give a easy to follow explanation of how to how problems.

@techteach_csub Tools like Khan Academy in the classroom can give students the extra support they might need. The video tutorials and extra practice can help students that are struggling. Also students can have help at home when needed. #techquestportfolio11

@techteach_csub I chose the fundamentals training because it is good to learn or relearn the basics. Even if you already know the fundamentals I believe you can always learn something new. #techquestportfolio10

@NataliChavezQ1 @techteach_csub That is a great ideology. After being students ourselves we sometimes forget of those times when we knew how to do a problem correctly and made a simple mistake and got the answer wrong. I would like to know what those rubics would look like if you don't mind sharing?

@techteach_csub It is hard to pick just one because I have learned to do many new things. However, what would be most beneficial would be items having to do with Google Forms and slides, Emaze, creating assessments, and embedding in general. #techquestportfolio9

@nbaughman3 @techteach_csub I love the idea of using Google earth for a social studies lesson. I think the kids would love and be amazed watching everything zoom in and out. I still get amused when using Google earth.

@techteach_csub I would love to use Google Earth for social studies lessons and simply showing my kids where they are on the map! I showed my last year 3rd graders their school on Google Earth and they were amazed! #techquestportfolio8

@techteach_csub Google earth can be used to virtually show students around the world. Google earth takes you any where in the world you want to go. Students can get a visual of a place they are learning about. Could be a great tool when teaching social studies. #techquestportfolio8

@techteach_csub Educational videos that teachers can create would help different types of learners because the lesson can be available when ever the student needs it. A student can watch the video multiple times if neededbto help undertsand the lesson.#techquestportfolio7

@mikgonzalez11 @techteach_csub I agree with you. The video that was available made it easy to create the rubric. I was good for me to get an idea of where to start, or how to start for that matter.

@techteach_csub The rubric I created was for a “health presentation” and I did it through google docs. It was pretty easy to create and the video you created was very helpful. I don’t believe the rubric allows for peer evaluation but I think it can be easily modified to #techquestportfolio6

@techteach_csub The rubric I created was a general one that can be used for different assignments and can be used for peer evaluation since it is based on completion off assignment on time, grammatical errors, and the general organization of the assignment. #techquestportfolio6

@LauraRegalado02 @techteach_csub I am right there with you. I have always only used PowerPoint. But Google slides is amazing for group projects. I like how the slide can be shared and everyone can work without having to find the time to sit and work on one computer.

@techteach_csub I'm also one off those people that has always used Powerpoint to create a presentation. But I like using Google slides because it is easy to share with others and embed in my portfolio. For students Google slides would be practical for a group project. #techquestportfolio5

@LeiranCarla @techteach_csub YES! I loved that one too. I was also thinking and planning thing I could do with it. And using it as exit tickets is a great idea.

@techteach_csub The most useful activity so far has been learning about the different type of assessments and the technology there is to help teach. I really liked making the kahoot and the poll, as I was doing them ideas were going through my head. #techquestportfolio4

Now that I am putting the finishing touches on my Google site, I am actually getting the hang of it... and I am liking it 😁 #EDTE4200
