Did I hear Susan Collins correctly? She condemned "both sides" for inciting violence against Supreme Court justices? Maybe my memory is failing me, but I don't recall a single prominent Republican encouraging violence against any Supreme Court justice, no matter how liberal their judicial philosophy may be. Am I missing something?

I like Susan Collins personally. I donated to her reelection campaign. She makes a great (very) moderate Republican in an otherwise un-winnable state. But in no way, shape, or form should Susan Collins dictate DHS policy. The fact Markwayne Mullin doesn't understand this proves why he shouldn't be in this job.

Markwayne Mullin to do it — following a fatal shooting in Maine where the agent feared for public safety "I spoke with DHS Secretary Mullin last night and urged him to cease all non-urgent vehicle stops in the wake of yesterday’s deadly Biddeford shooting. I am encouraged that the Department has agreed to do so." The vehicle-stop freeze will reportedly be in effect until "new training" is given to ICE agents.

ACB just set women back a century by admitting that she can be intimidated. Every man knows to keep his mouth shut about that. Other Supreme Court justices have been attacked and threatened, judges have been killed and you never see a man come out and complain, because they know it will make it worse. Sadly, women don’t understand us, and until they do, they cannot be in positions of power.
