@ZoeJardiniere I don’t know if rules change since Brexit but we had a Romanian girl that worked for us who got a student loan bought herself a home in Romania with that money, had a child and moved back to Romania before her course had finished

@TRobinsonNewEra @UKSploosh I’m from Epsom. I think it’s a bit of a shit hole now compared to when I grew up but the one thing I’m proud of is we don’t have any migrant hotels doesn’t take long to find out if you want to Google that.

Chants of "get them out" ring around Epsom tonight as locals hit a hotel housing invaders at the taxpayers expense. This is off the back of a reported gang rape, police released no info, then went on to say it never happened. Leaving locals confused! 🎥 @UKSploosh

@HumzaYousaf @RoryStewartUK Do you think more Muslims worry about that than Brits worry about being blown up by a terrorist in their own country? Rory Stewart himself spoke recently of how are politics is being used to push other culture’s and countries ideologies.

⚫️The Palestinian Arabs, in both the "West Bank" and Gaza, have taught their children for years to hate and murder Jews and steal their land. ⚫️They have tried to exterminate Israel and the Jewish inhabitants of the land for almost a century. ⚫️They regard a Palestine state as a “stage” in their “strategy of stages” to destroy Israel and exterminate the Jews. ⚫️IDF soldiers report that every house in Gaza had either a copy of Mein Kampf or a terror tunnel or both. ⚫️Palestinian pollsters report that the vast majority of Palestinians cheered the October 7 barbarities and consistently say they want more Jews killed and Israel destroyed. ⚫️The majority of Gazans who raped, tortured, slaughtered and burned alive women, children and men in the Hamas-led October 7 atrocities were civilians. ⚫️Not one Gazan offered the hostages any kindness or adequate food. Not one Gazan sheltered them from Hamas. Not one Gazan has tried to rescue them. ⚫️This Labour government minster thinks that psychopathic, genocidal, dehumanising Arab aggressors are of equal worth to their Jewish victims. Recognition represents Britain’s defeat of civilisation by moral depravity.
Wes Streeting@wesstreeting

That first sentence vindicates the judgement of our Prime Minister. Recognition isn’t a victory for Hamas. It’s a defeat for those who do not see the lives of Israelis and Palestinians as being of equal worth.

Today, under the leadership of France and Saudi Arabia, 142 countries have adopted the New York Declaration on the implementation of the Two-State Solution. Together, we are charting an irreversible path towards peace in the Middle East. France, Saudi Arabia, and all their partners will be in New York to make this peace plan a reality at the Conference on the Two-State Solution. Another future is possible. Two peoples, two States : Israel and Palestine, living side by side in peace and security. It is up to all of us to make it happen!

Jurgen Klopp spoke of wanting to win titles with “a team full of Scousers”. Eddie Howe described the Geordies in his Newcastle United side as “very special… they bring a uniqueness about them”. “He’s one of our own,” sing dozens of fanbases around the country. Yet that number is beginning to shrink. On Sunday, the first Premier League Manchester derby of the season takes place. Though Manchester City have a nucleus of local players — Phil Foden, Nico O’Reilly, Rico Lewis — with Kobbie Mainoo out of favour, no Mancunian is likely to be in Manchester United’s starting XI. Go back 30 years and it was a very different story... @jwhitey98 on the decline of local players, and why it matters in soccer's most global of leagues: nytimes.com/athletic/65809…

Most have been repulsed by the racist tweet from ⁦@DouglasCarswell⁩ (see article). Why? Because while most Brits believe illegal migrants should be deported (which they should!), they also abhor bigotry. One reason why this is a great nation 👇 thetimes.com/article/d9833e…

@ZackPolanski Seasonal business’ such as mine (commercial laundry) will have to cut our staff numbers down. (Currently employ 80 people) the only reason our staff would have their hours reduced is if we lost business or were in a quiet season. This country needs business’ employing people

@ZackPolanski Hi Zack, yes of course banning zero hour contracts and guaranteeing people fixed hours sounds fantastic. And I know there are more people on zero contract hours than business owners so you’d obviously promote that to get votes. But you are aware hospitality will get fucked,

Israel is committing genocide in Gaza. It sounds inconceivable. But it’s the truth. Israel is taking deliberate, coordinated action to destroy the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip. Explicit statements by Israeli officials, combined with a consistent policy of destructive attacks and other practices of annihilation, prove beyond a doubt that Israel’s target is the entire population of Gaza. Entire cities razed to the ground; medical, educational, religious and cultural infrastructure systematically destroyed; 2 million Palestinians forcibly displaced with the aim of expelling them from Gaza; and, of course, mass starvation and killing - all this amounts to an explicit attempt to destroy the population of Gaza and impose living conditions so catastrophic that Palestinian society cannot continue to exist there. That is the exact definition of genocide. The report we are releasing today is a warning: The ideology driving the Israeli regime is not confined to Gaza. The same regime, the same army, the same leaders and the same commanders are implementing extremely violent practices against Palestinians in the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, and within Israel. We are already witnessing the spillover of practices Israel is using in Gaza to other areas - on a different scale, but guided by the same logic. In the West Bank, this is taking the form of airstrikes, demolition of refugee camps, mass evictions, and the deliberate destruction of Palestinian economy and society. No Palestinian who lives under the genocidal Israeli regime is safe. There is no justification for genocide – not “self-defense”, not “security”, and not the heinous acts committed by Hamas on October 7, 2023, which triggered profound existential fear among Israelis. The international community has not only failed in its duty to stop the atrocities, but the leaders of the Western world, particularly the United States and Europe, also share responsibility by providing support that enables Israel’s acts of destruction. It is the duty of the international community to stop the genocide Israel is carrying out in Gaza. On social media, we are seeing footage of people buried under bombed-out buildings, displaced persons’ camps on fire, children starving, people desperate for water, and hospitals left unable to treat the injured and the sick. As a human rights organization it is our duty and responsibility to say the truth: Genocide is happening, right here and right now. This is our genocide, and we need to stop it.
