@timAcatsoftpaws Saw rebirth yesterday at a 12 am screening…will say I see why it has mixed reviews but the dinosaur scenes are top notch next week we got Superman!

Seeing Rebirth in a few hours btw, so I will be giving my review later.

@wastingfreeage1 @Josiahhh444 @EverythingDCU_ Sorry I’m a little late but also due to a crowded month I would say 600-750 mil is just fine that means if it was in a empty month like mid August it could’ve done close to a bil but with F4 and JW with other little projects it’ll be lucky to get over 800

James Gunn’s #Superman is currently tracking to earn over $20.4M in Thursday previews. With final marketing push and favourable reviews it will do around $22M-$23M In comparison The Batman opened with $21.6M previews (Via BOT)

@Edumervil58 @Josiahhh444 @EverythingDCU_ My point wasn’t about profitability. It was more about general audience interest. Superheroes are a dying genre, if this earns less than 800 million, it’s proving the genre is dying and it’s not financial worth pursuing a full dcu. Even if it’s profitable.

@Edumervil58 @Josiahhh444 @EverythingDCU_ People only go to so many movies. Also my point wasn’t about profitability. I’m highly skeptics of the 225 budget number for superman. But even then. If it does less than 930million, it was less popular than man of steel. People weren’t as interested as they were.

@wastingfreeage1 @Josiahhh444 @EverythingDCU_ If you do that then man of Steels budget was 225 mil and if you lowball marketing which is 100 mil but could be 150 but for this sake we’ll do 100 mil the budget was 335 mil but adjusted for inflation it’s 480 mil with 150 mil it’s 535 mil so either little profit or flop lol
