Earlier this evening, the Governor of Gibraltar presided over the first sitting of Legislative Council. In his capacity as President, His Excellency is responsible for administering and chairing official business in the House.

This evening, the Governor inspected the Royal Gibraltar Regiment and the Royal Gibraltar Police alongside observing a 21-gun salute. His Excellency handed back the Keys to the City of Gibraltar and boarded the HMS Mersey, leaving Gibraltar for the last time as its Governor.

This afternoon, HRH The Duke of Sussex visited all three emergency services in Eastbrook. The Duke spoke with first responders about their roles, challenges, and day-to-day operations in the area and thanks all those who took the time to attend.
