In Grenada we host a significant nesting population of the largest sea #turtle - the #leatherback! These gentle giants can reach almost 1.8 metres length and 900 kg in weight, all from a diet of jellyfish!

Nesting season has started off strong this year! So far our research team has documented 1,165 sea turtle nests within the 9.5 mile stretch of beach they monitor; 974 loggerheads and 191 leatherbacks🐢 Remember to #RespectTheLocals and follow the best sea turtle safety practices!
