(1/9) @MachinaLabs_, we're working on full automation in manufacturing through our 'Robocraftsman' technology—robotic cells designed to turn design intent directly into physical products. This concept is akin to the shift in the digital world, where cloud computing allowed software developers to focus on creation without the constraints of physical infrastructure. That shift enabled the rapid expansion we see today, notably the rise of artificial intelligence and AGI on the horizon. To enable the same rapid speed of innovation in physical world, our team is building a similar abstraction layer in manufacturing, making it as effortless to produce a new product as it is to launch a web service. Initially, I was reserved about sharing the details from our internal all-hands, as they capture the core of Machina’s ambitious goals. However, I realized the value of opening up our vision to the wider community. We’re on a mission to transform manufacturing, and it’s a journey that extends beyond just one company. We invite entrepreneurs and innovators to join us in reshaping this fundamental human expression, manufacturing.

BTW don't confuse this with 1 offs. Surprisingly China is better than us in volume of 1 to 100. More skilled labor and relatively more cost effective who can do bespoke products. The middle is where economics break for both US and China.

Everyone is fighting over scale. No one owns flexibility. The hardest problem in manufacturing is 1000 to 10,000 units. Not enough volume to amortize. Too much to do manually. China won’t optimize for it. They’re built for mass. We should. That’s the wedge

For years: “analysis-paralysis is bad” = wisdom. @pmarca says “introspection bad” and everyone looses their mind 😂 Relax… it’s just X-speak for “bias toward action”

Ok; so are we at war with Entropy? or are we the most efficient way to increase entropy? This is a trick question btw 😂 separates true engineers from posers

@beffjezos Entropy, entropy, no escaping that for me.

@ZacksJerryRig @FurkanGozukara There is no negotiation with this regime. Past negotiations has shown that they just use it as an opportunity to prolong their time in power while behind the scenes they go against everything they agreed on in negotiations. This has been a pattern over and over again.

I genuinely struggle to see a path for Iranians to free themselves while the current regime continues to control the money, the weapons, and the machinery of repression. As long as those remain intact, the system survives. It survives by silencing its own people and exporting instability across the region. Yes, there is a moral argument for helping people live freely. But there is also a practical one. A Middle East filled with governments that are stable and accountable to create prosperity for their people is simply better. For the region. For the United States. For the world. What we already know is that Iraq style “liberation” did not work. Occupying a country is not a viable solution. But allowing a regime that represses its citizens while fueling conflict through proxies and geopolitical games with Russia and China is not a solution either. It simply prolongs the suffering and lets a small group of power hungry IRGC commanders drain the country’s resources to stay in power. On the question of tragic civilian casualties like the school incident, those are heartbreaking and no serious person should dismiss them. War always carries terrible costs. But there is a difference between tragic mistakes in military operations and a regime that openly turns its guns on its own citizens during protests. The Iranian government has repeatedly fired live ammunition at its own people. That is not collateral damage. That is policy. And the sad irony is this. If you walk the streets of Tehran and talk to ordinary people, most are far more afraid of their own government than of foreign militaries. That alone tells you something about the nature of the regime they are living under.

JUST IN: Iran officially declares the Strait of Hormuz is NOT closed to the world—it is ONLY closed to the US, Israel, and their allies. Global shipping can pass freely. Washington's narrative of a global blockade just collapsed on live TV.

Zack, the Iranian regime is a criminal regime that plays innocent whenever it helps them survive a little longer. I say this as someone who lived there and still has family there. This government is chameleonic and has fooled many with propaganda. In reality it has funded the killing of its own people and has been one of the largest sources of instability in the Middle East.

Machina is looking for a non-traditional comms/marketing leader. Not the traditional aerospace type who hides behind safe messaging. We want the opposite. Someone articulate, sharp, and fearless who can say what is broken in manufacturing and defense and communicate bold fixes we a developing. You should be able to: - jump on news cycles and shape the conversation - write rallying messages engineers want to share - turn factory work into stories, videos, memes, and communities - be comfortable on X, Reddit, all places the next generation of builders actually hangs out - work directly with technical teams and showcase real work This is not a traditional aerospace role. DM me.
