@ButteryMark @campbellclaret She blocked you perhaps as she increased her majority substantially at the General Election after the Brexit referendum. Voted in by an overwhelmingly remain constituency because she was a good and principled MP. Compare that with Campbell. It appears your opinion wasn’t shared.

@campbellclaret Agree. She was my MP. She blocked me for challenging her on why she voted Leave despite Lambeth being 78% Remain.

Has anyone asked Emma Little-Pengelly, Gavin Robinson, Jon Burrows or any other Unionist leader if they will be wearing an Easter lilly, laying a wreath, attending a wreath laying ceremony or something similar tomorrow? If not - why not? Does same lack of comment apply in Nov?

Who believes poems written in English by Bobby Sands have had less impact for being penned in a foreign language? Are the words of Martin McGuinness less meaningful because he often expressed himself in English? Words in English do not threaten the Irish language & vice versa.

On the contrary, it’s a direct equivalence. British Remembrance includes honouring UDR, RUC, B Specials, Tans, Paras & more. Respect for British Remembrance by Republicans warrants reciprocation at Easter time by those genuinely seeking reconciliation, a shared today & future.
Choyaa@Choyaa13

@chrisadonnelly This is false equivalence, Chris. Remembrance Day honours sacrifices in multiple wars, including 200k Irishmen (Nationalists & Republicans among them) who served. The Easter Rising celebrates a separatist rebellion against British rule, Unionism has no reason to attend.

"At the time of partition, Belfast was the biggest city in Ireland. The six counties which were partitioned off produced two-thirds of the industrial output of the island and were the richest part. "Fast forward and you also know the story." Read Brian Feeney: tinyurl.com/z76tkk4h

@georgegalloway The British establishment didn’t give a stuff if Ulster remained in the Free State or voted to remain in the UK. Probably would have preferred the former. It was the vehemence of unionist opposition to being kicked out of their own country which forced the issue on partition.

@MarkNetherton3 @jonaspablo45 @Johnnypapa64 No he isn’t. If you are born in Northern Ireland you are automatically entitled to , and regarded as, a British citizen unless you choose to renounce it. Great Britain is a geographical entity. If Scotland left the UK their people would no longer be British. Go figure.

@ColmanOfGuaire My observation of your arrogance is not something limited to those of a unionist mind. ‘Unquestionable geopolitical facts’ indeed. These ‘facts’ are obviously questionable. Many people question them. Even your loony Norman- Saxon one.

@chrisadonnelly Keep these ‘facts’ coming Chris. They’re brilliant! Another 12 and you get to stand in for Brian Feeney in the Irish News. Another 50 and you get to be an Irish Senator.

A timely reminder Unionist TDs, unlike Nat/Rep MPs at Westminster, will not be forced to publicly declare an oath of loyalty to the Irish Republic as a precondition to taking seats in the Dail. Important example of how the unionist tradition will be treated more fairly in a UI.
Arlene O' Neill@arleneseesit

Let’s do a thought experiment. There is a UI, Unionists stand for election to the Oireachtas, they win seats and refuse to take those seats denying representation to all of the constituency. Would those in the constituency & RoI accept this situation?
