
If hot air hits cold air at high altitude where the air is thinner what do you think happens?
It’s basic physics & jet propulsion. Jet engines at high altitudes have always done this. I remember the hot summer and drought in 1976, looking up seeing the same thing.
As for the insect problem, don’t waste time looking up; look down. Don’t just look for one answer because there are multiple factors involved with the decrease.
I live out in the countryside, miles from any town or city and the decrease of insects out here over the last 5 years is very noticeable and worrying. I used to take photos of bees on our flowers which was easy as there were so many. Now I can’t as I’d be all day trying to find one.
