If the next-gen Xbox console...which is basically a PC that can't run standard PC apps, becomes more than $400, there's no value in it. Spend a few extra hundred on a custom built PC and you get FAR more value from it for a much longer period of time, especially since a PC can upgrade parts. I feel sorry for the folks wit the 65+ inch 4K TVs. I have an Xbox Series X, I see no point anymore buying a console in the future. I rarely game on my TV unless it's a racing/sports game. I seek performance, and my PC gives me that. The old days of people saying PC gaming is complicated and consoles you just pop a disc in are over and have been over. PCs give you more value for your money than consoles do.
