Stressed people feeling unsafe in a chaotic environments, frightened and in a constant state of panic, the result is aggression and self harm which leads to being demonised, and of course longer term incarceration. The system IS broken @CarlyJonesMBE @BBCLucyAdams @studio3

#Restraint and #Seclusion are not therapeutic, they retraumatise the already traumatised and that includes staff as well. People need #lowarousal environments with well paid and trained staff and of course control over their lives.
