‼️‼️DO NOT TAKE FLAGS HOME‼️‼️ We are extremely disappointed that some fans took our flags home last night, removing them from the large wooden pole they are on and taking them with them. These were taken grown men by the way, not kids. Some of our group seen this with our own eyes from the upper so we were unable to get the flag back, we also had a friend message us saying they have one of our flags at home because they took it off a man on the way out the ground who was trying to put it in his pocket and there were quite a few poles with no flags on during the clean up. These flags cost thousands of pounds to buy. For the 2x2m flags that some have took home, they cost around £65 each to buy. This money has been donated by our brilliant generous fans to enable us to buy these flags to put on displays. They aren’t yours, our fans haven’t donated for you to take them home and put them up in your ma’s box room. We do this voluntary, as well as having full time jobs & it takes up a lot of our own time. Now we will have to spend more hours securing 100’s of flags to the poles so they can’t be removed, which will then make even more work for us should any need washing. If you want a flag with our design on, then contact us and we can give you the design and the details of the company who make them. If you’d like to return them, then bring them to the United game and leave it on a seat. Thank you 👍🏼

@EdwinWilson84 They shouldn’t need to if we’re being honest. These flags are on 2.5m wooden poles & a lot are 2x2m big. It’s pretty obvious that they aren’t to be taken home. However, sadly it does look like it may now need to be done.

@Everton So the next 3pm Saturday kick off is the derby on April 18th....probably get moved...so City May 2nd is next...which will probably get moved meaning we won't have another this season.

Can we finally end the poverty chanting please? Every fucking year it happens around Christmas, a time when supporters of EVERY club are battling against the tide who rely on food banks, family support with many children going without. You may think it's hilarious because it was a shit chant in the 80's after Thatcher destroyed the social fabric of society once, but 40 years on everyone reading this will more than likely know someone where food and economic poverty are real things that cause misery. If you hear it, call it out, it never was funny and even less so today.
