17 House of Rep members have dumped the ADC for the NDC. More are going to join in days to come. When we told them that this man is the Opposition, they thought we were joking. The ADC is dead! They wanted to box him into a corner. Have him stay there as minority. At the cul-de-sac is where everything ends! Like the PDP did in 2022, the ADC failed to zone their ticket to the South. An oversight on their part. They tried to trap him in their party until the last minute. They were clever by half. Many are yet to fully appreciate the enormous powers this man possesses. Bola Tinubu was shown his numbers in 2023, & he panicked! INEC had to hurriedly turn off the IREV. In panic, afraid that Nigerians may rise up (if fake results were ever announced), the Commission had to quickly make that announcement at 4AM. Peter Obi won that election hand’s down! Nigerians woke up to the sad news, & it was the silence of the graveyard. A type of dreadful calm enveloped the entire nation. People knew that that election had been rigged, & the future was bleak. Hopelessness & dread filtered in & remained in the air. They are felt to this day! Back to my story: The Establishment were prepared for war. They stationed armored tanks at INEC HQ. Police & soldiers were stationed at strategic locations in Lagos & Abuja. The Establishment were afraid of a possible breakdown of law & order. It was a Great Expectation. In fact, they were terrified! The atmosphere was supercharged. Those of us at Obidient HQ saw it all. Your elites fled Nigeria. Cowards all of them! They wasted no time in fueling the jets. MM international airport was busy, private jets left in their droves. It was panic like no other! The “Silence of Lamb” greeted by fear & apprehension. Asiwaju won his bet. Manhood Yakubu sold out Hindsight, I wish influencers like us didn’t call for calm. That was a big mistake on our part. Peter Obi called for calm & we listened! This law-abiding citizen had faith in the judiciary. He is the Opposition, the Opposition is him. HE IS POWER, where legitimacy & moral authority reside. Where he goes? Nigerians follow! LET THE TSUNAMI BEGIN! 💪💪

Everytime I fly out of the Island, these mountains always look like sand specks. Travelling close to them on land, you can't help but just marvel as their magnificence. Leaves me in awe, everytime. The wonders that exist in this world, in their simplest forms, humbles me.

Please don't believe me when I say this. There's an inexhaustible budget allocation aimed at locking down all core platforms - Tiktok, Instagram, Twitter. Not Facebook, those ones are useless. A lot of these names were compiled during the digital summit they held. Some will drive bigotry, others will drive religious divisions, others will be dedicated to rubbishing the credibility of standout voices. The low level sewer rats, collecting #300 per tweet will be dedicated to combing media of opposing voices and designing caricatures, just to make them cower. If they can't find anything, they will impute unfounded sexualities (gay, lesbian). The medium level sewer rats don't need to run up this content, they would repost/RT for visibility. Please don't believe when I say this: It is designed to be a full blown campaign. Week on week, month on month. There are people who are currently on the same gig that are currently farming credibility as "conscious voices" so when they flip that switch - it appears organic. Whatever you saw leading up to 2023 will be scaled in ten folds.

Knowing how diabolical and corrupt this government is, I’m convinced they’ve set money aside to pay certain influencers, not to openly support them, but to sit on the fence and sell “neutrality” like it’s some kind of virtue. I am also sure there’s another set being paid to push alternatives, anyone but Peter Obi. That’s why I’m not moved when people start talking about “independent thinking” while staying on the fence. Some might genuinely be undecided, sure, but a lot of it is bought, and the rest is just people hiding behind neutrality so they don’t have to stand for anything.

You think say I dey play when I say your name dey list. Na your name make me burst laugh. Maybe the person didn't do their research well. With others, it was going to be a Yes or a No. You that is vocal against the government, I dont know how your name landed there.

You can say all you want to say about Peter Obi, but you can’t call him a thief. Neither can you dismiss all he did while he was a governor and all he has been doing after he left office. #NigeriaWillBeOk

This morning, in Lagos, I met with the U.S. Consul General, Mr Rick Swart, where we discussed strengthening the bilateral relationship. We focused on promoting credible elections in Nigeria, ensuring they are free from interference, and fostering a space where all political parties, especially opposition parties can thrive, and contribute. We also discussed trade and business opportunities between our countries. Accompanying me to the meeting was Dr Adefolaseye Adebomi Adebayo. The discussion was very productive, and we are hopeful that, moving forward, Nigeria’s elections will be even more credible and transparent. -PO

An Open Letter to Governor Alex Otti @alexottiofr Dear Sir, I just want to say thank you. Last Thursday, I traveled home to Arochukwu after work in Enugu just to spend the May 1 public holiday the next day. For many people, that might not sound like a big deal. But for those of us from Arochukwu, it is something we haven’t been able to do for years, making a short trip to Arochukwu just for leisure?? You must be an indaboski!!! Before now, traveling home was something we avoided, even during festive periods like Christmas. The road was simply too bad that those of us who dare travel will go from Umuahia to Akwaibom then to Arochukwu. It made journeys stressful, long, and sometimes even risky. Personally, it has been about four years since I last made a trip home. But this time was different. The road from Umuahia to Arochukwu is now smooth, dualized, and truly motorable. People now leave Umuahia by 7 pm and get to Arochukwu by 8 pm. That’s something we couldn’t have imagined not too long ago. People are traveling again. There’s movement, there’s ease, and there’s joy. And for that, I am deeply grateful. This is not just about a road. It is about reconnecting people to their homes, restoring a sense of normalcy, and giving us back something we had almost lost, the freedom to travel without fear or frustration. I am speaking for myself, but I know I am not alone. Many of us from Arochukwu see this, feel this, and appreciate it. We know where we are coming from. We understand that Abia State still has a long way to go after many years without real development. But these steps you are taking, even if they seem small to some, mean a lot to us. They give us hope. We believe you can do even more. We trust that you will continue to work towards rebuilding our state and positioning Abia where it truly belongs. We look forward to seeing our state rise, not just in words, but in real, visible progress until it stands proudly among the best in Nigeria. Thank you for remembering us. Thank you for this road. Thank you for making it possible for people like me to go home again at ease Yours sincerely, Mercy Torty A grateful indigene of Arochukwu
