Over the last 6 years, beef went from $4.56/lb to $7.06/lb. That’s a 55% increase in dollar terms. But priced in Bitcoin? 2020: ~47,111 sats/lb 2026: ~9,053 sats/lb That’s an 81% decrease in Bitcoin terms. In dollars, beef got more expensive. In Bitcoin, beef got cheaper.

There you go: Over the last 5 years, beef went from about $4.31/lb in Jan. 2021 to about $7.06/lb in 2026. That’s about a 64% increase in dollar terms. But priced in Bitcoin? 2021: ~12,400 sats/lb 2026: ~9,053 sats/lb That’s about a 27% decrease in Bitcoin terms. In dollars, beef got more expensive. In Bitcoin, beef still got cheaper.
