Claims by Peter Obi, that he ran a very lean administration and consequently left billions for his successor, Willie Obiano have been faulted by one of the aides of the ex-governor, Benji Obi, saying his former boss was far from the truth.
Benji Obi is the former Special Assistant on inter-party Affairs to Peter Obi . He spoke during a telephone chat with journalists in Abuja and he queried his former boss on the use of public funds for private functions.
His points:
* Obi built the first expensive Helipad at the Government House in Anambra for his personal use.
* Peter Obi used helicopters to travel often while he was the governor, and he usually travelled alone or with one trusted aide. It was not a secret within the administrative circles in Awka. When he went to the burial of his wife’s sister, he flew in a helicopter. He took off from the Government House.
* Peter Obi increased the money for his private kitchen at the Government House to N2million monthly and increased the feeding for the Police officers attached to him to N7million monthly. The alleged increase never translated to increased feeding, as the money disappears.
* He alleged that his former boss lied when he said he stopped the buffet-styled dinner being served at the Government House.
“What he did was to sack all the previous cooks and butlers and employed over 30 cooks/butlers/stewards from Akwa Ibom and expanded the kitchen budget. The Akwa Ibom cooks and stewards were over 20 cooking for Peter Obi. Buffet was always there.
* Peter Obi purchased a bulletproof BMW for his wife and two bulletproof land cruisers for himself. He even bought an additional one for his brother, Damian.
* He was always using private jets to travel as often as any other state governor in Nigeria. The records are there and can be made public.

@ChuksEricE @dr_elbravo Peter Obi said he signed over 20,000 CofOs and yet not one land or property belongs to him. That’s a definition of INTEGRITY

“One of the pilots who flew me said I gave him a scholarship to learn how to fly. A Reverend Father who preached here also said he benefited from my scholarship, even though I have never met him before. I want a country where people can attain certain positions without knowing anyone. I once met a man working at a restaurant in Abuja who said he was a first-class graduate, how can someone with such qualifications be in that position? Any contractor who can come forward with evidence that they received a contract under my government and that I asked for a percentage from the money of the contract, I will quit politics.”

Some people will still come here to drop hateful comments about him Peter Obi. Not because they have empirical facts or evidence to counter what he’s saying o, but only because he’s not their tribe.
See, the issue of liberating Nigeria from the claws of this failed and wick ed government transcends beyond figh ting our politicians. I think we literally have to start figh ting its supporters too at this point. These people are worse than the politicians. Cause tell me why these people are threatening my chances to a better future and that of my unborn kids, and a larger part of Nigerians who have degenerated to being clowns be supporting them because of tribe and the some crumbs that falls from their table?? At this point, some people need to d! e for Nigeria to move forward cause they’re irredeemable
Nah, my resentment for them right now is second to none.😡😡😡

When it comes to a real interview, this is priceless.
Part 2: "Q: You accused Tinubu of creating a militia to rig the election.
Daniel Bwala: 'That's your opinion.' Mehdi: 'No, it's YOURS—from Jan 22, 2023.' Plays clip 'Tinubu and his people created a militia...' Mehdi: 'Who said those words, Daniel?' Bwala: Absolute silence 😂
It’s the part where he said … what you just said now, … I want to put it on record. … ON MY OWN HONOR he retorted.
Me : Daniel what honor? Honor amongst thieves or something else?

IBRAHIM JUBRIL: "It is this pre-emptive scripting that warrants reflection. For much of his public life, Nasir El-Rufai cultivated the image of the unyielding reformer. As minister and later as governor, he spoke with prosecutorial certainty about corruption and incompetence. He dismissed critics with clipped impatience. He governed with unmistakable firmness. Admirers called it resolve; detractors called it severity. His tenure was marked by contentious episodes that remain deeply debated in Nigeria’s public memory: security crises, clashes with activists and journalists, property demolitions defended as enforcement but criticised as vindictive."

Savage truth without being reckless:
Barça are on the verge of losing a warrior because the club let the pressure cook him alive. Araujo isn’t soft he’s been carrying that backline like a shield, taking hits the whole institution should’ve absorbed. If he walks, it won’t be because he wasn’t strong… it’ll be because the environment broke before he did. And losing a player like that? That’s a wound Barcelona inflicted on themselves.
English

🚨 BREAKING: Ronald Araujo's psychological situation is more serious than people think.
The player is very affected. There is a possibility that he won't ever put on a Barça shirt again.
