I kid disappeared when he was 14, his folks searched everywhere for him with no success.
He was later discovered in prison and he was already 32. He couldn't even remember why he was arrested or how long his sentence is.
The prison doesn't have a record of his crime or sentence (that's what's making me bald with madness)
They've now secured his release though. But I'm just so mad at our condition in this country 🤬🤬🤬

Populist policies harm economic prosperity but benefit politics.
All economic theory is based on the behaviour of individuals, households, and firms.
A promise to pay N500,000 a month as minimum wage will garner more votes than a promise to increase productivity.
Increasing productivity is generally beneficial; paying higher wages without boosting productivity is ultimately detrimental.
This is for those who have ears.

When President Obasanjo temporarily removed fuel subsidy in 2003 or thereabout, fuel price climbed from N26 to N42. People grumbled as usual, but did you know his response? That, if Nigerians are willing to buy a bottle of beer for more money, why complain about the cost of fuel? Labor Congress wasn’t having it. They protested so hard and nearly crashed the economy and Obasanjo grudgingly reinstated fuel subsidy in 2006! So where did Nigerians learn this culture of suffering and smiling today? How did you go from paying N42 a liter to N1,370 a liter with no pushback?
