@AnimatorBruce @GeneralChrollo Exactly. Like the previous episode where Conquest starts pulling Mark's internal organs is extremely visceral. Or in the very first episode of the first season when Omni Man murders the Guardians. If the whole show was all blood and gore those scenes wouldn't hit as hard.

@GeneralChrollo Their use of blood is very strategic. Too much of it lessens the shock of seeing it, it desensitizes the audience and it becomes more difficult to gauge when injuries are serious. They CAN do it, they just choose to be smarter when they use it so it retains it's impact
