Let’s be honest here, that is what it was. A lot of people are overthinking the election loss. It comes down to a simple truth. This country is not ready for a woman President. We weren't ready in 2016 or 2024 and we won't be in 2028 ... and probably much further into the future. A woman lost to the WORST candidate in history in both 2016 and 2024. They were FAR superior candidates in EVERY possible measurement. Millions upon millions of people couldn't see past their gender. It didn't matter what they said, where the economy was, or how crazy Trump talked or what he threatened to do. It clearly doesn't matter how many women he has sexually assaulted or what he had going on with Jeffrey Epstein. It just didn't matter. I hope the Democrats will admit this when grooming their next candidates for 2028. We need an ex-marine type candidate who can talk to the knuckle-draggers but also demonstrate compassion to women and make clear that he understands their plight ... and that it's despicable ... but real. To have another female candidate in 2028 would be the very definition of insanity. We're just not there yet as a country, and won't be for a long time.
