🇳🇴 Everyone is talking about Norway's incredible World Cup run. Most people think the story starts with Erling Haaland. It doesn't. It starts with six-year-olds. Yesterday, The Guardian published a fascinating piece on how Norway completely changed the way children play football. Until the age of 13, there are no league tables, no official champions and no pressure to win. The focus is simple: make kids fall in love with the game first. That sounds crazy in a sport obsessed with results. But the numbers suggest it's working. Norway has a population of just 5.6 million. Yet they've produced players like Haaland, Ødegaard, Nusa, Schjelderup and one of the most exciting national teams in Europe. Yesterday they reached the World Cup quarter-finals after beating Brazil, one of the biggest wins in the country's football history. The philosophy is refreshingly simple. If children enjoy football, they'll keep playing. If they keep playing, the talented ones eventually emerge anyway. Sometimes the best way to build elite footballers is to stop treating every 10-year-old like one.

@AlexVolloFPL Vargas will be the starter, no doubt. About the CSs I'm expecting only 1 (against Congo). We should keep it against Uzbekistan but our defense as shown some fractures, specially over the left side.

So many uncertainties around goalkeepers right now. 🇲🇽 I was originally on Rangel, but Mexican media pushing, and even openly saying Ochoa starting against South Africa is far from ideal. 🇨🇴 As I understand it, Montero should start over Vargas in the next friendly and become the No.1, but I don't trust their defence at all anyway. 🇨🇭 Still no update on Kobel's health, and even if he's fit, Mvogo might keep his place. He's always been solid in goal for Switzerland. 🇺🇾 Rochet has one advantage over Muslera: he's started the latest competitive matches. That said, I can't fully trust either of them because they're Rochet and Muslera. 🇨🇦 The Canadian goalkeeper situation is hilarious. Every time the press asks about it, Jesse Marsch and the coaching staff seem determined to give away absolutely nothing apart from trolling. #WorldCupFantasy

@AlexVolloFPL I'm pretty confident that Vargas will start. He played most of the qualifiers and played the whole Copa America. When he was injured Montero played a few games, as soon as Vargas was fit he was straight into the team.

Personally feeling very sceptical about the popular Rochet/Vargas GK duo. There's a genuine chance neither starts. Rochet is coming off a poor season. He's still a decent sweeper, but most other aspects of his game have regressed, especially dealing with physical presence in the box. Bielsa recently said he "can't confirm the starting spot" in goal, and both Uruguayan media and local analysts believe Muslera could start if Bielsa is serious about winning. I can't fully trust Vargas either. Alvaro Montero has arguably had a better season than both Vargas and Ospina, and most analytics-focused Colombian outlets expect him to get the nod. And honestly, even if Rochet and Vargas both start, I'm not sure I'd be happy owning either of them anyway. #WorldCupFantasy
