Iran is using Iraqi militias to target Barzani assets. These hotels is viewed as a financial hub to the Barzani’s, and a asset to the U.S and Israel, so there is the justification. PUK, and PKK has clearly chosen not to seek a conflict with Iran, while Barzani’s is being cornered by Iraqi militias used by IRGC to warn and target the Barzani’s. It keeps escalating, and it will ultimately drag KRG into a new war with Iraq and Iran.

Even if Kurdistan wins, by the will of the people, Kurds is going to lose in the long-term. Bad political, and strategic decisions is not effecting the Kurdish society because their Kurdish culture is still overriding PKK idealist policies, when they get the power to actually change policies, they will destroy the Kurdish nation. Mark my words.

@KamalChomani Such a strategy also benefits the large kurdish community in inner Anatolia. But that strategy by itself is not enough, as we saw in Syria. Kurds always needs to protect the kurdish identity of their core regions.

Is Istanbul the biggest Kurdish city? Newroz festival of #Istanbul this year, some say, was even bigger than that of Amed/Diyarbekir. This is why "brotherhood of nations and democratic nation" is the BEST solution for settling the Kurdish question in Turkey.
