I imagine that spending $20 billion to get petroleum reserves to scratch wouldn’t have been a high priority for governments. Oil companies wouldn’t do it unless forced to. The current potential shortage is mostly due to an ill‑advised war started by Donald Trump.

Many of his postings talk about the struggles of Palestinians under Israeli occupation and oppression. Albo is Catholic. Years ago Catholics might have been chased out of Protestant Churches, and vice versa. In the 1500s, during the reigns of Henry VIII’s daughters and half‑sisters, Mary I and Elizabeth I, it was much more dangerous for Catholics and Protestants to be around each other.
