@EldSyd

Modest assets. Low income. Most days old; some days elderly. Trying to shake off some of the social brainwashing from school in the 1950s and 1960s.

Prime Ministers since 2012 are: Gillard, Rudd, Abbott, Turnbull, Morrison and Albanese. About 10 years LNP; 4 years ALP. I imagine that spending $20 billion to get petroleum reserves to scratch wouldn’t have been a high priority for governments. Oil companies wouldn’t do it unless forced to. The current potential shortage is mostly due to an ill‑advised war started by Donald Trump.

You are getting ahead of events. He has not been jailed; he has been charged. He lost a defamation case and an appeal against Nine Entertainment. If he is found guilty in a court of law, he may be jailed. Let the law take its course. The PM has nothing to do with it. x.com/i/grok/share/b…

@DrewPavlou Only in Australia do we jail a war hero and have a treasonous grub as PM.

Ben Roberts-Smith was just arrested on alleged war crimes charges. Miscarriage of justice. He served his country. If we were ever invaded we would need men like him to fight to save Australia. How can we be so ungrateful? Free Ben Roberts-Smith.

@DrewPavlou He is a convicted war criminal. It speaks to your need for attention. Leave Australia’s defence to the experts and find a fucking job instead of scamming your 1-neuron followers.

Australia has not had sufficient petroleum reserves since 2012. There are many people and successive governments you can blame for this. Estimated cost of getting this up to scratch is $20 billion over four years. Economies of scale and distance from markets made Australia’s oil refining industry uncompetitive. x.com/i/grok/share/e…

Albanese’s Easter address had the charisma of a soggy lettuce leaf Why are we stuck with career politicians who've never run a business or lived overseas, govt dependent their entire lives yet cling to power while crushing us with net zero & bureaucracy? Vote them out #AustraliaFirst 🇦🇺

Not according to Palestinian Christians. They are harassed and persecuted (and worse), mostly by the Israelis. Munther Isaac is a Palestinian Christian theologian and pastor. Many of his postings talk about the struggles of Palestinians under Israeli occupation and oppression. My sense is that most Palestinian Christians feel abandoned by Western churches and governments in the face of Israeli occupation. This is a link to his X postings: x.com/muntherisaac?s…

@EldSyd @Ryandally08 @AlboMP That was then, it’s now what matters. Christianity has seen much reform, unlike Islam, which wont budge, and has led to dangerous extremism.

I wish all Australians a happy and joyous Easter. It was a beautiful mass this morning at Saint Christopher's Cathedral in Canberra.

@luismbat Alright I have an idea, hear me out. We will send some oil drillers from across the U.S., some roughnecks you may say, we will send them in some super secret space ships with a few nukes and get this we will blow it up.

In 2029, Apophis, a ~370m asteroid, will pass just ~31,000 km from Earth. That’s ~1/10 the distance to the Moon. Inside the orbit of geostationary satellites. Visible to the naked eye. Impact risk this time is low, but the flyby could shift its future trajectory. A direct hit would mean a ~1 km crater and regional devastation. That’s why becoming multiplanetary matters.

@goodfoodgal When your empire extends to countries that have a significant Muslim population, it is would be an occupational hazard and requirement to consider their interests and sensibilities.

This is just crazy. It sounds good to have penalty rates, but the reality is that the business went be viable and he’d very few of them will operate. This very little employment. Classic socialist conundrum. And by the way, why the hell do the Feds charge payroll tax!?? A tax for paying staff?

#BREAKING Its 8:30am in the morning and there is still no Easter Sunday message from Anthony Albanese. If it was any other religion, he would be in their place of worship posting relentlessly. It’s obvious now.
