I’m addicted to mental illness memoirs, and this is just a fraction of my 📚collection, many of which I re-read on a regular basis. @EleanorSegall’s book is a welcome addition to my collection. Review will be up on Amazon soon. Essential reading which helps break the taboo of MI.

We are deeply saddened and shocked by the senseless attack in the early hours of this morning at the Hatzola Northwest ambulance base.   Hatzola NW, along with all Hatzola organisations, provides life-saving services without discrimination, regardless of faith or background. It is extremely distressing and difficult to comprehend that such a vital service could be targeted and attacked in such a way. 
We are working closely with the police and relevant support agencies to ensure the safety and security of our premises and resources, so that we can continue to respond swiftly to emergencies.

The deliberate arson attacks against Hatzola ambulances in London are a particularly sickening assault - not only on the Jewish community, but on the values we share as a society. Our Hatzola volunteer ambulance corps is an extraordinary service, whose sole mission is to protect life, Jewish and non-Jewish alike. The targeting of Hatzola by people so committed to terror, hatred and the desecration of life is a most painful illustration of the ongoing battle between those who sanctify life and those who seek to destroy it. At a time when Jewish communities around the world are facing a growing pattern of these violent attacks, we will meet this moment with shared resolve and stand together against hatred and intimidation.

A suspected antisemitic arson attack occurred against the @Hatzola North West ambulance service in Golders Green, London. A cowardly attack, aimed at striking fear in the heart of our UK #Jewish community. Hatzola is an ambulance service serving people of all faiths since 1979.

@DrAnnieHickox @EleanorSegall I can't even bring myself to use the word. When I apply it to myself. Shame plays it's part. But for me it's part fear, part stigma.
