@cirnosad @Ansel_libert The smell of mazut is so nostalgic to me. It reminds me of all of my holidays to the Syrian coast (to visit family). Randomly while in the mountains you’ll smell a very distinct smell of petrol and everyone calls it mazut. Such an ugly smell but the nostalgia makes me love it.

rule of thumb: yield going up = money getting more expensive that hits everything crypto -> even less liquidity real estate -> debt starts turning radioactive asx -> already boring, now even less attractive i don’t watch bond yields daily, but when they move like this… it is concerning

@Electric_pulse1 @GreenTyler27 I have been expecting a large crash for a couple years as this would follow Canada and NZ in terms of pricing. This has been delayed by mass migration and the 5% deposit scheme. Prices will eventually reset since incomes set the costs... also need to remove investors.

The AU10Y didn’t stay under 5% for long. Expect increasing credit pressure. Australia isn’t getting richer. We’re just getting more expensive to finance. And the 30Y is even worse.
