#OTD in 1776.. Thomas Langlois Lefroy was born in #Limerick He was Lord Chief Justice of Ireland in 1852–1866. Lefroy is famously romantically linked to author #JaneAusten , and scholars speculate that he inspired the character of Mr. Darcy in Austen's Pride and Prejudice.
