Dawn in Late Jurassic North America. A pair of huge Barosaurus lentus wake up as a large flock of the anurognathid pterosaur Mesadactylus return to the trees to rest during the daytime. Sketch

Supergiant dinosaurs through time. The reign of supergiants extended from the Oxfordian to the Maastrichtian, almost 100 million years. During that time, different families of sauropods- and only sauropods- evolved supergiants of 30, 40, 50 or more tons.

We were in a documentary! Matthew Wilbur joined us in Montana and captured what it's like to go on a dinosaur dig. Check out our latest blog post and watch now! Thanks for allowing us to be part of this, Matthew, and we hope to see you again! buff.ly/3tsQl9k

A new analysis of a beaver anklebone fossil found in Montana suggests the evolution of semi-aquatic beavers may have occurred at least 7 million years earlier than previously thought, and happened in North America rather than Eurasia. sciencedaily.com/releases/2022/…

Congratulations to @mrforcellati for winning the Colbert Prize at #SVP2022! Meghan was one of our first participants in 2017, taking a chance on a young organization and digging up dinosaurs with us. Now, she's conducting groundbreaking research and winning awards! Way to go!

#2022SVP Great talk from @Tessasaurus_rex on #Diplodocus skin. Follow-up on data reported in 2021 PeerJ paper. Much scale complexity - structures reported here that have major implications for thermal physiology. #dinosaurs
